Aitokauppa

The idea of ​​Aitokauppa was to offer clean and ethically produced food from source to consumers. In Finland, the consumption of ethical food was growing rapidly and the market is held by two big players. The idea of ​​Aitokauppa was to bring a genuine counter-movement to big chains and processed food. The goal was to operate with shops and online and to create a nationwide chain of 50-70 shops focused on local and organic food. Comparisons from around the world were e.g. Whole Foods. The genuine trade pilot-level selection included more than 1,600 products that were organic, locally produced, the best of small producers, or additive-free. The selection covered everything for daily food needs. With the funding we raised, we managed to build two pilot stores in Helsinki, b2b sales and an online store. The operation had to be downsized in the summer of 2013, while operations were still unprofitable due to the weakening market outlook and financial position. Of course, the lessons learned were recovered for the future.

Perustimme yhdessä musiikin ja audiobrändäyksen pineerien Kim Kuusen ja Vellu Maurolan kanssa Suomen ensimmäisen audiobrändäykseen keskittyneen yhtiön.  Mukaan tuottajiksi lähtivät myös Leri Leskinen, Jaakko Salovaara, Samuli Laiho ja Jukka Immonen. Yhtiön liike-ideana on suunnitella yrityksille miltä se kuulostaa eri käyttötarkoituksissa.
