Content Marketing Freelancer

scale up was one of my inspirations to start my freelancing side business. I am super excited to be helping them shine on LinkedIn through content creation, consulting and workshops 🚀🚀🚀

More specifically, I am the person writing all posts and comments on the LinkedIn company page. I also help the two founders with their LinkedIn profiles and content.

We recently ran our first LinkedIn Live and had 120 registrations, over 60 Live viewers and lots of great feedback! I call that a win! 😍

Dealing with engaging and future-relevant topics such as e-mobility, digital twins and cloud computing on a daily basis was inspiring. 

I found a passion for digital marketing, event marketing and employee advocacy at Dassault Systèmes. 

Here's what 3DS does in 23 words: Anything you see in the real world can be modeled, simulated and perfected in the virtual world first. 

Dassault Systèmes' software does exactly that. I contributed to this innovative mission by finding the right words and stories for our digital presence.

I was the first person people called for LinkedIn advice, social media marketing topics and online campaigns.

Thesis topic "Branding an Employer through the Career Website"
Final Thesis Grade: 5 (5 = very good ; 0 = failed)

A career website is a company's equivalent of an individuals LinkedIn profile. It's a way to shine and stand out!

This internship made me fall in love with employer branding and made me realize the importance of a career website.

Besides supporting the Employer Branding team with their strategy and execution of implementing a new career website, further tasks included:

- Employer Branding content creation
- Creating and holding an Employer Branding workshop 
- Holding presentations at universities and fairs

Internship / Bachelor Thesis: Employer Branding

Outotec

As a summer trainee in the spare parts sales support team, I provided clients with quotations and processed sales orders. 

The biggest lesson learned was prioritizing my tasks: when an end customer was having a breakdown or shutdown, these cases became the top priority and needed special attention right away.

Next to my main tasks I was part of several Employer Branding initiatives, such as two promotional videos and a trainee week on social media platforms.

I was handed the amazing responsibility of recruiting all interns in Germany. 

I hired around 30 extraordinary students
& Created a fantastic candidate experience for all applicants 
& Boosted the employer brand by creating branded content and spreading the 3DS spirit throughout the recruiting process, at business fairs and other events.

Internship Recruiting and Employer Branding

ESB Business School, Reutlingen University

I took part in the selection interviews for new potential students at ESB Business School. This is where I found a passion for recruiting.

I was chosen to embody the values of the ESB - trust, respect, commitment and responsibility- and had the chance to visit multiple fairs and business events all around Germany.

Together with a fellow student, I organised and moderated a 4-hour interactive workshop called "Project Management for ESB Students".

Vice President sounds so super fancy (which it obviously was 😉) but I didn't run for this position for the title.

I loved this role because:

- I organized amazing events for the freshman and other students
- I could speak up and inspire change in board meetings
- And got to meet many international amazing people

My university hosted a business fair. Obviously, somebody had to find and convince companies to join us and pay the attendance fee. 

That's where I came in (with my non-existing cold calling skills at the time).

Long story short: I developed my sales competences by convincing 10 companies to join although they had tight budgets. And I leveled up my pitching skills 🚀

- How small consulting projects are structured and organized
- How to conduct relevant research
- How to present topics to customers

Who would have thought that I would end up being a freelancing consultant 6 years later 😅 My consulting team from back then would be proud 😏

In my 4 years working at the bakery, I was able to learn a lot about: 

- How family-businesses are run
- How to create a great customer experience (Yes, free samples are a secret tip here)
- How to handle conflict (Yes, I had to deal with some yellers unfortunately)
- How to train new employees (I found out that I love teaching and helping others)

It was a great learning experience during high school and my first year of university.
