Purpose of the thesis work is to investigate the possibilities to optimize the casting mould preheating process. Preheating is performed by nozzle injected natural gas combustion. In this work I'm applying a theoretical knowledge of heat and mass transfer physics and trying to execute the optimization to correspond the maximum heat transfer in the burning process.
