A great product stalls without a world-class sales team.
And none of it scales without phenomenal marketing to articulate the story and create demand.

You don’t get to pick one.
You don’t even get to pick two.

Sales. Product. Marketing. 
All three. At the same time. At a high bar.

That’s what struck me most this week.

Cloudsmith has all three and they genuinely reinforce each other.

Incredibly proud to be building with this team.

I hate it when people start a new job, tell you how amazing the company is, and then say they’re hiring.

RSA offers enterprises a wide range of options for user authentication so that users can be uniquely identified before they enter the network through channels to access business-critical data and applications. The two-factor authentication with RSA SecurID is based on something you know (a password or PIN) and something you have (an authenticator). This provides an organisation an enhanced secure user authentication than using the standard high risk user name and password login.

To manage all aspects of relationships between RSA, channel partners and end users to close all maintenance contract renewal available opportunities across all RSA. Inside point of contact for all Channel partners for the DACH territory, Reseller and Distributor staff relating to maintenance contract renewal. Inside point of contact for the RSA Distribution Partners, both inbound and outbound calls, provide quotations and associated sales support requirements to these partners and place quotations within the CRM system for maintenance contract renewal. Close renewal business consistently at or above quota level. Preparation of documentation to end users, channel partners advising respective parties of maintenance renewal information. Maintain timely and accurate records of all interactions with customers and internal departments via CRM and weekly meetings, providing detailed feedback and recommended next step. Analysis of distribution sales reports to determine closure of maintenance renewal business. Forecast accurately on a daily basis and update CRM database to achieve KPI’s. Use of tools such as SAP & Diver to establish correct customer identity, license size and maintenance renewals.

Understanding EMC’s wide ranging product offerings and competitive issues associated with Network Storage. Participating in oral presentations and written tests that measure sales competency and messaging ability. Prospecting and profiling potential select accounts. Assessing customer and prospect needs. Designing Information management solutions. Developing negotiation and closing skills. Generate qualified client leads that the inside and field sales teams can develop into sales opportunities. Leverage multiple lead-generation tools to meet appointment quota. Participate in on-going sales, business, and technical training courses to increase overall awareness of EMC’s solutions and go-to-market strategies. Contribute towards growth of EMC's channel business. Utilising Salesforce CRM to book  appointments and other sales activities.

As a Foreign Exchange Specialist my responsibilities included providing a high level of Customer Service in a Foreign Exchange retail environment, using selling techniques to maximise all revenue opportunities for the Foreign Exchange and Card Customers whilst ensuring the protection of the Company assets.

My requirements included to organise the daily activities for the office/branch as required, which included creating promotional ideas and servicing retail and business clients over the counter and via the telephone to sell, up sell and cross sell foreign exchange products, maximizing each opportunity for the benefit of the office and the company.
