🚀 Road to 3M New Business (France) – Rétro Février — épisode 2

🎯Objectif France : 10 925$ MRR
MRR Closé : 15 476$ → 141,7% de l'objectif 🔥

Bravo à l'équipe pour cette belle perf !
Mais ce qui compte plus que le chiffre, c'est ce qui change en dessous.

Ce qui a bien marché 👇🏻

✅ L'outbound est en croissance 
22 meetings outbound bookés en février vs 16 en janvier → +37,5% MoM. 
Meilleur mois en outbound depuis qu'on a lancé la motion. 

Ce qui me plaît : la perf est répartie dans l'équipe. 
Tous les sales tournent autour de 2 meetings bookés par semaine. 
Et les 4 derniers jours du mois, l'équipe a basculé de 16 à 22 pour exploser le record.

✅ Changement de motion sur l'Inside Sales 
Il y a 6 mois, le revenu IS était majoritairement mensuel. 
En février : 52% yearly, 27% monthly (le reste en quarterly).

C'est le signe que le discours change & que les prospects sont éduqués sur le fait que l'outbound c'est stratégique & se joue sur la durée, et qu'il n'y a pas de recette magique en 2 semaines. (king Simon Streiff 🏆 )

✅ Premier deal de Soriya Som de 2K MRR closé en février. 
Un deal qu'elle avait en discovery peu après son arrivée, 4 mois de cycle de vente. Bravo pour ta patience, ténacité & capacité à collaborer avec ton champion.

✅ Refonte de l'onboarding 
On a reconstruit avec Lucille Rabaux le process d'onboarding en créant une plateforme interactive (avec Lovable), basée sur nos playbook & appels enregistrés sur Claap (vidéos, training, cas concrets). 

Résultat : plus d'autonomie pour les sales en onboarding, et moi je passe moins de temps en formation générale pour me concentrer sur du role play. 

✅ 2 nouveaux dans l'équipe + Recrutement terminé
Bienvenue à Adriano ESTEVES qui rejoint en tant qu'AE, et à Romain Paignon qui démarre son stage de césure en Inside Sales.
Le dernier recrutement est également signé. 
À partir de mars, l'équipe est au complet : 4 AE + 2 Inside Sales.
On est dans les temps sur le plan (c'était moins une).

Ce qui doit être amélioré 👇🏻

⚠️ Prévision pipeline 
Même constat qu'en janvier. On joue encore trop au mois le mois.
Les sales n'ont pas assez de recul sur leur pipe à 6-8 semaines.
Je change ça sur mars.

⚠️ Qualité des discoveries
Les appels de discovery manquent encore de KPI et de vision macro côté prospect. On qualifie, mais on ne construit pas encore assez le cas business en amont.

⚠️ Poster ma rétro du mois plus tôt, le mois de mars est déjà bien entamé 😅

⏩ Poursuivre l'accélération sur l'outbound & créer du pipeline long terme : chaque sales sélectionne ses 10 Target Accounts. 
Objectif : dissocier l'outbound de run (volume) de l'outbound stratégique
(profondeur, durée)

 ⏩ Montée en compétence Claap : accélérer sur les 2 derniers arrivants, renforcer ceux qui commencent déjà à le vendre.

2 mois sur 2 au-dessus de l'objectif.
Ce n'est pas une raison de relâcher, c'est une raison de structurer ce qui marche pour que ça tienne à l'échelle.

There's a lot of fear about AI in marketing right now (layoffs, etc)

I get it. That's why I opened a GitHub account.

Layoffs are hitting tech. People are scared and the anxiety is real.

But here's the other side nobody talks about: this is the best time to be a builder.

3 weeks ago I didn't know what a Pull Request was. Today I'm building internal tools that automate half my creator workflow 

(literally, saving me hours of manual process and making me feel like a movie hoodie hacker 😂 )

At Perspective, we've gone all-in on AI. And I chose to embrace it.

Here's what came out of that deep dive: AI won't kill the marketers with deep, vertical expertise. It'll multiply them.

If you understand your space, AI becomes a force multiplier. You go from managing tasks to building systems.

The manual stuff will be gone sooner or later. But the strategic thinking, the pattern recognition, the domain knowledge... it gets more valuable than ever.

So yeah, I have a GitHub account now. I'm "writing" code and building tools.

Not because I want to be a developer. Because I want to operate like a 10-person team while staying a team of 1.

The fear is real but so is the opportunity.

Partnerships @ Perspective | Building B2B creator and partner programs that drive revenue

A founder friend spent $7,500 on a single creator partnership.

It only drove 3 signups. Here's what happened:

He wanted to test creator-led growth. So he did what most people do: found the biggest name he could afford and paid them to post.

250K followers. One post. $7,500.

Result: a few hundred clicks and 3 signups.

He asked me "what went wrong?". Here are some notes I shared: 

➝ Big audience ≠ right audience

Those 250K followers weren't his ICP. The creator was popular with marketers in general, but not B2B SaaS buyers for his niche specifically.

➝ He gave the creator a super strict script

Word-for-word copy. The post felt like an ad, not authentic content. People can smell that from a mile away.

➝ High engagement ≠ conversion power

The creator's viral lead magnet posts got thousands of likes. But likes from people who'll never buy your product (and only want free stuff) are worthless.

My advice was simpler: stop chasing follower counts.

I told him to go smaller. Find creators with 10K-50K followers who actually talk to his ICP every day.

He's now testing 3 niche creators for under $2000. Early results are looking way better, and he's spending way less.

The lesson: it's almost never about the biggest name. It's about the right one.

My only qualification for my first influencer marketing job: 

I spoke English.

Quick story: I was fresh out of college working at an agency in Spain. 

We closed a new client (Amazon) that needed someone to build a gaming creator network across 4 countries.

I was the only person on the team who could email creators in English without Google Translate (for real).

That's how I got the job.

I had no playbook or experience working with influencers. But I was curious about what makes creators tick and a willingness (and the time) to send a lot of cold emails.

Since then, I've worked every side of this industry:

→ Agency side — running creator campaigns for major D2C brands

 → Creator side — built a newsletter to 6K subscribers, sold sponsorships, eventually sold the whole thing (made over 40k with it 🫡 )

 → Brand side — led influencer marketing at several B2B brands

Now I lead Partnerships at Perspective. Creator programs, affiliates and strategic partners, anything that drives revenue through people.

What I've learned: B2B influencer marketing is still massively underleveraged. Most companies either ignore it entirely or treat it like B2C (wrong audience, wrong approach, wrong metrics).

The brands that crack the B2B creator playbook will have an unfair advantage.

I'm glad I stumbled into this space when I did. Watching it grow from "random people on YouTube" to a core growth channel has been wild.

Marketers, if you plan or already run Creator-led growth motion on LinkedIn.

This is the biggest mistake you can make. And it’s killing your ROI.
