My emotional intelligence certification meant nothing.

I still felt “not ready.”

If you’re a coach, you’ll understand this.

Coaches don't avoid money because it’s noble.

They avoid money because they’re scared of being measured.

I spent 7 years avoiding business conversations with clients.

The industry created this by teaching coaches that money talk is beneath them.

Not less.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we were all working from home. Some friends I mentor decided to embark on a new venture together. Since we all enjoy waking up early and mastering various skills, we brainstormed an idea for a morning project.

Thus, "Power Mornings" was born. We secured a website and created email addresses for our initiative. I handled all the technical aspects, including website creation and email registration. However, after a few days, some members started to miss our morning meetings, and the enthusiasm began to wane.

Ultimately, we decided to wrap up the project and move on. Here are the details of what we aimed to achieve with Power Mornings.

AGNEXT

I have been sitting at home after being fired from my job. About 10 months later, I received a call from HR offering me a position as a Java Developer. When I arrived, I found it interesting to discover that only the founder and the HR representative were the company's employees. I realized it would be a great opportunity to work here, as building a company from scratch is challenging.

During my time at AgNext, I learned a great deal, especially about AWS, through hands-on experience and experimentation. I was responsible for hiring team members and had the authority to architect the product. I am currently leading the team. Below are the details of the product we are building.

We are developing a next-generation agricultural product for farmers utilizing Java 8, Spring Boot 2, JWT, and Angular 5. I am handling the development of all REST services and the front-end solution for the product. Additionally, other mobile teams are creating an Android application that will consume these REST services. The product will be deployed on AWS using an EC2 instance with RDS as the database. SSL certificates will also be implemented on the EC2 instances.

Moreover, we are working on IoT sensors that will send data to our servers.

I also contributed to another agricultural project that was deployed on IBM Cloud and utilized Cloudant DB.

Here are the details of my role:
- Managing a team of 11 people: 5 Java developers and 4 Android developers
- Architecting the solutions
- Implementing Single Sign-On (SSO)

We have collaborated with clients such as ITC, KPMG, Jasmine, and Compass.

Senior Java Developer

Self Employed

I was recently fired from my job and found myself idly searching for new job opportunities. Despite forwarding my resume to friends and applying everywhere I could, I struggled to find a position.

One day, a person suddenly reached out to me for help creating a product. I had no prior experience in freelancing, so I hesitated at first but eventually decided to seize the opportunity. We began discussing the product over Skype and agreed on a fixed amount for the project.

I provided a rough estimate based on the requirements he shared with me and started building the product. However, as soon as I completed one component, the client requested additional features. When I asked for payment, he said he would only pay after I finished that module.

This pattern continued for four months. Eventually, I told him that I would only continue working on the product once I received payment. In response, he claimed he couldn't pay because he didn't yet have a final product. In the end, I created a ZIP file containing the work I had completed and delivered it to the client, but he never paid me.

That experience was a hard lesson for me—it was my first time building something as a freelancer. It taught me many valuable lessons, both technically and mentally, and provided me with important life lessons as well. Here are the details of the project I completed for the client. I am still waiting for the payment.

It is an HR module system with many modules, such as Leave Management, Business Travel Management, Holiday Management, Timesheet Filling, and User Management, with Google Re-Captcha integrated. The front end is built using AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.

It is an in-house project of the Organization. True “Anytime, Anywhere”, Web-based, a single sign-on portal to streamline various company functions, including document management system, Time and Billing and recruitment portal.

• Lead developer for the project on backend services
• The front end is a different part and is made in AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3
• The project is built with Spring, Hibernate, REST Services and Java 8.
• Used Amazon Web Services like S3 for storing Files and SES for sending an email

Tech Mahindra

STC Expansion
The application is placed between PAMI clients (Ericsson) and Voucher System (VS) and converts the PAMI request messages to VSIP-T request messages and VSIP-T responses to PAMI responses. Expansion of the project includes developing the SNMP Module and improving the overall performance of the application. The application is built using Core Java. This is a small project, and it is single handled by me only.

• My role is to implement the SNMP into the existing functionality.
• Traps generating as the problem occurs in the application and send them to a third-party server.
• Registering OID’s for the application so that third-party server can do an SNMP walk on the application and gather information regarding memory, CPU and disk drives
• The project is built using Core Java, SNMP4J(java library for handling SNMP protocols).
• Integrated and implemented the solution on the client-side, i.e. Saudi Arabia
• Appreciation mail from a client for work done
