Working at Amazon was fascinating. I learned priceless business lessons about how to operate a business efficiently. 

I played the game full-on and led a multi-million dollar program to great success, earning the highest corporate award for efficiency and speed of implementation.

In 2019, I was becoming the perfect Amazonian, a brutally efficient and hyper-rational thinking machine. But my soul was dying inside. I was barely saying hello to my colleague next to me.

I decided to switch sides and give my energy to carry the vision of entrepreneurs with a big heart.

I also went through a deep personal development journey to understand more about myself. I joined the Platinum Partnership Program with my mentor Tony Robbins and completed 16 Tony Robbins seminars over 15 months.

During this time, I learned that it's not what we get that makes us fulfilled but who we become in the process.

This belief is at the heart of everything I do:
To grow my client's businesses, I place a strong emphasis on the personal growth of their leaders.

+ Applied for sales role, but given Business Development Manager role, with duties across sister-companies.
+ Then they asked me to become a 25% owner and Director after 3 months. I accepted on 19th June 2018.
+ Introduced a new sales and communications process, and a bespoke CRM & marketing suite.
+ Designed and commissioned two new websites for A.H.I. and Grocott & Murfit Builders.
+ Implemented personnel changes, removing low value positions, and replacing them with high impact roles.
+ Created B2B scheme for builders to supply kitchens and bathrooms; forged partnerships with architects.
+ Reversed their losses: they lost £129k the year before me and projected a loss of £180k for the year when I took over. However, we finished £18k in profit – a massive turnaround in fortunes – then I sold my shares back.

+ Increased both retail & trade revenue by 10% (like-for-like, year-on-year) while bed industry was down 20%.
+ Pin-pointed ideal locations to open new stores using the data stored from Internet sales across the UK.
+ Successfully launched 5 new Mattressman stores expanding the reach of the retailer further into the UK.
+ Successfully launched a department store, with £100K/m revenue in 3 months, then £175K/m in 9 months.
