I’m serious. In Q4 at least 7 companies told us that when they mentioned Sybill to their Gong rep, reps literally offered them a 50% discount.

I don't totally blame them though. Gong reps are working with a bloated platform, strapped-on AI, and no transparent pricing. They have to bring out the scissors and cut prices when more AI-native tools like Sybill enter the conversation.

At Sybill we make little problems big.

I'm fighting like hell to make sure this isn't the case for us.

Last week we launched Dark Mode, and one of our customers wasn't seeing it in the app.

They left a comment sharing the issue. Within an hour they got:

a comment back from  Collin Mayjack,
a LinkedIn DM and email from Shivansh Singh,
an email from my cofounder Nishit Asnani (Hiring Founding AEs),
AND a fix from our dev team.

A little overkill for a bug? Maybe. But I wouldn't trade it.

Was it dumb of us to launch a new feature a week before Christmas? Maybe.

After years of using AI across different companies and leadership roles, I thought I understood what “AI at work” really meant.

What surprised me after joining Glean wasn’t speed or automation.
It was realizing how much context we’d been quietly losing.

Most of my career has been in revenue leadership, so this showed up for me immediately. Not in demos or strategy decks, but in how I ramp, make decisions, and run complex partner relationships day to day.

What changed isn’t access to more information.
It’s that context now shows up when and where the work actually happens.

Here’s what that looks like in practice.

 • When a global partner asks, “What have we actually done together?” I don’t rely on memory or scattered notes. I see the full relationship in one place: sourced and influenced deals, exec sponsors, prior escalations, product feedback, and what we committed to last time.

 • Quarterly partner and territory planning stops being a blank-sheet exercise. Teams bring forward patterns from calls, win and loss notes, roadmap discussions, and pipeline history, so decisions are grounded in reality, not the loudest voice in the room.

 • New teammates don’t spend weeks chasing tribal knowledge. They can replay the real trail of decisions, debates, and outcomes around a partner or account and be credible in days, sometimes minutes, instead of months.

The most interesting part has been seeing what happens when a team both builds Work AI and runs the company on it.

We move faster not because people work harder, but because context, not effort, was the real bottleneck.

 • Cross-functional work across sales, product, finance, and partnerships becomes transparent by default.

 • Ideas go from “someone mentioned this in a meeting” to a living source of truth in hours, usually minutes.

 • And with Glean agents, a lot of the orchestration just happens: partner reviews, QBR prep, renewal risk signals, and follow-ups are assembled from shared context instead of everyone starting from zero.

My takeaway: Work AI isn’t about productivity hacks.
It’s about removing the hidden tax of lost context that quietly slows teams down.

It’s rare to join a company and feel the product push you to operate at a higher level. That’s been my experience so far at Glean.
