So excited by who’s signed up so far to this year’s cohort of the CPD-Accredited Meta Ads Strategist certification.

Meta ads aren’t the dark arts.

Your eComm brand hit 7 figures a year.
So why does everything feel harder, not easier?

Here’s what nobody warns you about scaling past multi-six figures…

The founder becomes the bottleneck.

You’re used to being a scrappy start-up where you need to be involved in every output and every decision.

Processes are loose. You’re late to outsource tasks you need support with. Unclear how different external partners or new internal hires can carry your load.

Reluctant to relinquish control in case the wheels fall off.

Ironically, this type of control usually causes the wheels to fall off.

Scope of roles is unclear, leadership is erratic, goals are fuzzy, strategy is patchy.
What gets you to six figures and multi-six-figure turnover doesn’t get you (and keep you climbing) to seven-figure annual turnover and beyond.

And here’s the thing most founders don’t realise: Meta ads are a magnifying glass.
They magnify the good and the bad in every business.

If you’re unclear on what you’re promoting, your creative assets are buried in a chaotic Google Drive nobody can navigate, and your fulfilment is unreliable… your ads won’t work to their best.

They become inefficient. Suddenly they’re costing a bit too close to your breakeven point. Panic sets in. Erratic optimisations follow.

I never fully appreciated the importance of ops until I saw what happens when it’s not prioritised. It’s the unsexy foundation that makes the sexy stuff (scaling your ads profitably) actually possible.

Facebook is the Wild West (despite it’s fuddy duddy reputation!)

Last week I hung out on there more for the first time in a long time.
