Black Starling is het innovatieteam van Accor Hotels Nederland, bestaande uit 8 hand-picked professionals die op een impactvolle manier werken aan verrassende, innovatieve processen, producten en concepten binnen de Nederlandse organisatie. Gestart als een geheim ('black') project koos het team voor de codenaam 'Black Starling'. De kleine, wendbare spreeuw ('starling') was de beste metafoor tegen over het hotelbeeldmerk van de grote gans.
