I asked everyone one question:
“One word to describe AI in 2026.”

The answers were telling:
Unpredictable. Essential. Explosive. Pervasive. Vertical agents!

When you zoom out, a few patterns become very clear.

Here’s what actually matters for 2026:

1. AI becomes invisible, but unavoidable
Winning tools aren’t all about the AI AI AI.
AI will just be baked into workflows, decisions, and daily work.

2. Most teams are still using AI wrong
Oh so many teams had shallow AI applications.
And leaned in hard for the branding and buzz words.
Real gains come from deeply integrated systems that compound.

3. Vertical > generic
Vertical agents only win when paired with real domain expertise.
Otherwise, it’s just thin wrappers.
2026 is for AI depth and real applications.

4. Enhancement beats replacement
The strongest founders weren’t chasing “AI replaces X.”
They’re building for human amplification:
better judgment, faster execution, fewer bottlenecks.

5. Humanness becomes a differentiator
As AI gets more powerful, taste, trust, narrative, and leadership are everything!!

a single source of truth is:

 • one place where all data is accurate and up-to-date
 • standardized definitions across teams
 • clear ownership of information

why it matters:

 • AI trained on messy or duplicated data produces unreliable answers
 • teams spend more time cleaning output than using it
 • decisions made from inconsistent data hurt credibility and speed

think of it as the less exciting, but critical, bottleneck to plan for.
(before you start automating or scaling with AI)

the companies who do this first, build reliable workflows and get lasting leverage from AI.

why “AI will replace jobs” is the wrong frame

(+ the reframe that will completely transform your workflows)

everyone keeps asking which jobs AI will replace.
but that’s the wrong question.
AI doesn’t replace 𝘫𝘰𝘣𝘴, it replaces 𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘴.

every role is a bundle of tasks.
(some routine, some creative, some relational) and AI picks off the routine ones first.

example:
a marketer might spend time writing briefs, analyzing campaigns, pitching ideas.
AI can handle the briefs and analysis.
but the pitching? still so human!!

the better question is:
which tasks in my job are predictable enough for AI to do consistently well?
because that’s where the shift starts.

the future isn’t “AI vs humans”
it’s “humans who redesign their job around AI” vs those who don’t.

Here's how to impress someone who's built and sold 8-figure companies

Actually do what you said you would.

Confession: I wanted to teach a programme online for years

When I caught up with Timothy Armoo recently, he asked how things were going since we last saw each other.

I told him I'd finally built Amplify Academy.

"Oh, you actually did it?!"

Because most people don't follow through.

Every DM, sales call, comment or email holds a question your ICP is struggling with.

If one person asks, 100 others are thinking it.

(I feed transcripts into Stanley (Your Content Coach) and it pulls out the pain points worth turning into content.)

Struggles that come up in coaching, consulting or even casual conversations? That's raw material.

Friction is gold. If someone wrestled with it in real life, your audience will relate.

Your own models, reframes and systems.

Ask yourself: what's a phrase or diagram I use over and over? That's content.

4. Mistakes & Lessons Learned

Failure is often more magnetic than success.

Share what went wrong, what you learned and how you'd do it differently.

5. Myths & Misconceptions

What does your industry repeat that you know is flawed?

Challenging bad advice builds authority quickly.

6. High-Performing Posts

Your own “greatest hits” can be repurposed, remixed and reframed into new content.

Study other people’s viral posts too. Figure out why they worked, then adapt for your ICP.

An overlooked truth about personal branding:

You can outsource the work, but you can’t outsource your actual voice.

And yet… this is the mistake founders make the most.

They hire someone, then step back completely.

You wouldn’t have someone join a Zoom call with your profile picture, speaking on your behalf 😅

After 7+ years building personal brands, here's an approach that works:

📌 The 10/80/10 Model 

- 10% at the start: Your voice

(Calls, interviews, voice notes - capture your actual thoughts & stories)

- 80% in the middle: The heavy lifting

(Drafts, transcription, editing, design - all things you can outsource)

- 10% at the end: Your seasoning

(The unique details, examples & final touches only you can add)

You need to write or record your thoughts throughout the week to have enough Source Material.

That’s your role - then a team can support you.

The ghostwriting industry gets this backwards.

They promise to BE you instead of helping you be MORE of you.

If not, it can damage your account and reputation long-term.

The whole point is to share your voice online.

Your personal brand is too important to fake.
But it's also too important to do everything yourself.

Own the beginning. Own the end. Outsource the middle.

That’s how you protect your time and gain leverage.

For the past 4 years I've used a nifty (free) Chrome extension called Boomerang with a feature called Pause Inbox.

It does exactly what it sounds like - you press a button and it stops new emails from hitting your inbox until you're ready.

(they just go into a temporary folder out of view)

I've just paused my inbox until 1st Jan 2026.

Because here's what I've learned:

You can't control when people send you things.
But you can control when you see them.

1. Set up your out-of-office
2. Pause your inbox

Everything can wait. Protect your time off and come back firing ⚡️

Most sponsorships are a triple loss.

The creator loses trust.
The brand wastes budget.
The audience feels sold to.

In 2026, long-term brand partnerships will dominate.

B2B companies are finally committing real budgets to creator marketing. But the focus needs to shift from "deliverables per month" to premium associations with the right creators.

Because when sponsorships go wrong, it's usually one of two things:

1. The brand wants you to list features with zero creative freedom
2. The partnership made no sense, but the money was hard to turn down

Both lead to content that doesn't perform, audiences that disengage, and brands that get nothing but expensive awareness.

So how do you create a Win-Win-Win?

The best creator-brand partnerships I've seen share three things:

→ The creator actually uses the product (the partnership was obvious)
→ The audience gets unique value (exclusive access, real discounts)
→ The commitment is annual, not transactional

This avoids wasted budgets.
Creators selling out.
And audiences feeling like they're watching an ad.

Trust is gained in drops but lost in buckets.

Every big creator in 2026 will have a "partner stack" - a small number of brands they promote consistently.

That's the future.
