As Co-Host of Our B2B SaaS Journey, I lead conversations that unpack the unfiltered reality of building a B2B SaaS company from ideation to (hopefully) exit. 

Together with my co-founder, I share the wins, missteps, and frameworks that shape how we build SixSides, an event and community engagement platform.

Core Responsibilities

Content leadership: Shape episode themes around the real problems and decisions we face as early-stage founders.

On-air hosting: Co-present weekly podcast episodes, providing perspective from my role as Sales/Marketing Lead.

Storytelling: Translate raw founder experiences into practical lessons and playbooks listeners can apply in their own companies.

Audience engagement: Encourage listeners to subscribe, share, and interact across platforms (Apple, Spotify, YouTube, LinkedIn, Substack).

Was a broke employee for 10 years, and my bank account was always less than USD150. 

I don't even have the luxury of getting salary increments or bonuses because I keep jumping from job to job, industry to industry, to find the "perfect" job. 

I wish I knew what "coach/mentor" was back then.

I worked in a factory for the first 5 years and didn't see any future, so I started reading books and attending free seminars. 

Every book I read pointed me toward learning sales and marketing to start a business.

So, in my last 5 years of employment, I forced myself to move to a big city and work in sales and marketing. 

It was tough for someone like me, an introverted, shy, and low-confident person, to work in sales and marketing.


But looking at my bank account, I don't even have the option to quit my job, 

so it somehow forces me to stay a little longer in the sales and marketing job. 

The journey is challenging, but in the end, it has molded me into a better sales and marketing professional.

I reached a point where I became very good at marketing and closing.

But my bank savings are still at $150. 

My salary barely covers my expenses.

I still remember one day being stuck in a traffic jam on my way to work, I started crying in my car. 

I kept questioning why my life was so difficult even though I worked so hard. 

There was an "aha" moment when I realized I could not get rich by working and saving.

So, that day, I decided to start a business.

Eventually, I went ALL-IN and invested heavily (using my credit card) in honing my business skills. 

I sacrificed my weekends, friends gathering, and midnight to learn how to start an online business.

I skipped my lunch hour & slept in my car during my day job.

One day, I almost died in my car (CO poisoning). 

I remember I had already lost consciousness at that time & "someone" woke me up. 

I can hardly open my eyes, but no one is around.

That day, I know it was an ACT of GOD.

I remember many nights I cried in front of my laptop because I didn't see any progress. 

But now I recall those "no progress" moments; those are significant progress...

It's just "marinating" in the process.

So, after 6 months of hard work and sacrifice, my part-time business generated more money than my salary..

I officially fired my boss!
