Previously, I co-founded Sleek (acquired by Snackpass) and had the privilege of leading initiatives at Google, where I contributed to products that scaled globally. There is a certain kind of excitement that sneaks up on you when things finally start to make sense, and that is exactly how we feel about what we are building at Truto.

Three years is not very long, but it is long enough to learn a thing or two. And the biggest thing we have learned is this: integrations are terribly misunderstood creatures. People think they are just endpoints and documentation, neatly lined up and well behaved. They are not. They are wild, opinionated, and full of surprises. They demand ownership, context, and a proper understanding of how real humans actually use software.

That is precisely why Truto was built the way it was. A services-first foundation, sturdy enough to handle the tricky bits, fast enough to move when things get urgent, and clever enough to grow into AI-ready integrations that stretch and bend as our customers’ needs expand.

We are the sort of partner teams call when the stakes are high. When a deal is wobbling because one integration is misbehaving. When a PoC needs the data to line up just so. When churn is lurking and a generic connector simply will not do. We feel very lucky to work with some remarkably sharp teams around the world.

Last year, we partnered with one of the largest payments platforms to power their accounting integrations. Doing that as a bootstrapped, 6-member team shipping globally from Bangalore, India still makes us pause, smile, and shake our heads in disbelief.

Still bootstrapped, still a small team: And perhaps because of that, we believe more strongly than ever that integrations are not something to rush. They need patience, care, and a methodical hand. The gaps in this market will not be solved by speed alone, but by building product and service together, with long-term ownership baked in from day one.

That, we think, is how unified APIs and AI-ready integrations ought to be built.

Highlights of 2025

- Partnered with one of the world’s largest payments platforms to power their accounting integrations. 

- Migrated two companies from Merge to Truto, as a six-member team shipping from Bangalore, India.

- Migrated another company from a leading integrations platform to Truto in December, a strong way to end the year.

- Added 2 new team members (4 to 6)

- Achieved Google CASA Tier 2 certification.

- Crossed 600+ supported connectors - Everything from enterprise giants like Oracle Fusion Cloud and ServiceNow to Anthropic and OpenAI.
 
- Launched Datastores allowing customers to get unified API data pushed directly to a datastore of their choice.
