You can do sh*t instead of complaining. 

Complaining is, “My boss will never let me succeed.” Are you out of your f*cking mind?? Your boss at a random company? There are 87 trillion companies .. quit! 

Pound LinkedIn until your next job comes that pays you more so that you can leave.

Whether I have to write it on a napkin or post it here on LinkedIn, the message is the same… 

many of you are messing up, fear is fake but also holding you back, it’s time !

Go do your thing. Enough of the excuses and the fear, it’s time!

I turn 50 in less than 2 weeks .. and here's a message for those of you 50 and up.

You have a lot more time than you think.

It is super appropriate for you to start that business that you've always wanted right now. It is actually quite practical .. you probably actually have a much deeper understanding of what to do to be successful than the average 25-year-old that's rolling into my office looking for dollars to start their business because they've got an idea..

If I could just take the energy in my heart to deploy it into so many people's brains to understand how much time is still left in your life to do your thing .. that would make me very happy.

You may have 50—that's right, with modern medicine—you may have 50 more good years of executing .. 40 for sure!

I really think .. knock on wood .. so many of you reading this have 40 full, big years. Think back to when you were 10 .. from that moment until right now, all that life .. you've gone on the back end and people are trying to "wind down" and figure out how they're going to slow it down or "wrap it up" ..

F*ck wrapping it up, man.. Start it up!

FEAR IS FAKE … and “they" use it against you to stop 🛑 you from your joy!

One of the things that has really allowed me to "win" is not wanting it fast.

Everyone's in a rush to "make it" .. but crushing it is actually more about patience than you think

I actually don't think making it faster is a good thing .. most people really struggle with understanding that, often times, the faster "it" happens, the more vulnerable it is.

Slow down. You've got time

Either you'll hear 👂 me now or you’ll hear 👂 me when in the future...

But the quicker you act on realizing you have to attack life, not let it happen to you, is the quicker you'll enjoy this journey versus wasting it on stress and anxiety and worry ❤️

Most new managers think that becoming a manager is the “graduation.”

Truth is, it’s the reverse.

Leaders work for their employees.

That means you have to understand what your employees want at a deep level. You have to be constantly adapting to their needs and what they want from the organization.

When you go from being someone who “executes” to someone who’s managing a team, you go from trading on IQ to trading on EQ.

You go from doing the actual work to listening to employees, catering to what they want, taking the blame, and being the bigger person.

No excuses … 

all you need is 1 example, and if you can’t find it … 

BE the example.

If you have toxic employees within your organization, you'll have other employees who are scared to have meetings with them. You'll have people who are spending time navigating discussions with those employees rather than actually executing. 

Your people will be spending time on politics, not on execution. 

When you build a culture where people feel safe and excited to come to work, they won't worry about dealing with other employees as much. 

When they're not spending any time worrying, they're spending time executing. If they don't have to spend 15 minutes a day bickering or figuring out who's trying to "ruin" them, they're free to come up with new ideas and actually do the job they were hired to do.

Whatever is bothering you right now, take a breathe, be grateful for what is going well and realize what you can and can’t control. If you can’t control it, let it go and focus on what you can control, which at least is your “gratitude scale” ❤️❤️❤️

You will not be replaced by AI, but...

Demonizing new technology is holding you back.

This is what happened in '96, '97, '98... I watched the biggest companies in the world get folded because they refused to respect that the internet was here..

Now, AI is here, and you need to do something about it .. learn it .. use it .. understand it ..

If you were fired, be grateful...

Kiss the ground and thank the heavens for the opportunity to get somewhere better! This goes for jobs but this also goes for relationships in any different form.

This is the great trick of our society. People are addicted to the idea that money is going to solve all of their problems, but I've literally watched people get money and get way worse .. especially if they didn't earn their money.

The first goal you should have as a business owner is to fire yourself.

Before I explain, let’s talk about something every parent understands.

Raising kids comes with its own structures and stages.

At first, it’s physically hard. You do everything for them. Bathing, feeding, dressing, homework, school runs, and endless soccer nights. You are their entire world, the engine that keeps everything moving.

And eventually, it becomes spiritually hard. Because you have to let go. You’ve passed on your values, morals, and principles. Now you trust that they’ll live them out. It’s no longer your job to run their lives. It’s your privilege to watch them live their own.

Business is no different.

At first, it’s physically hard. You’re doing everything yourself. The long hours, the endless decisions, the weight of keeping it all together.

Then it becomes emotionally hard. You care about every result, every client, every team member.

And eventually, it becomes spiritually hard because you have to let go.

That’s when you start building a team, documenting what you do, and creating systems so your business can run without you.

After many years of trying to figure out how to really be successful in business and especially here on LinkedIn, I’ve noticed a few patterns in myself and in others.

Not criticisms.
Just gentle course-corrections that make everything work better.

Instead of focusing on the results,
I’ve learned to focus on doing the work well.

Instead of trying to build a network,
I’ve learned to simply show up and be present.

Instead of chasing leads,
I’ve learned to add value without keeping score.

𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘧𝘦𝘸 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘧𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬:

Instead of trying to impress people,
I’ve learned to genuinely understand them.

Instead of trying to sound smart,
I’ve learned to focus on being useful.

Instead of chasing visibility,
I’ve learned to pursue real impact.

Instead of trying to close clients,
I’ve learned to solve problems first.

Instead of filling my day with busyness,
I’ve learned to choose effectiveness.

And maybe the biggest shift of all…

Instead of working 24/7,
I’ve learned to rest.
Because stepping away gives you perspective you don’t get while grinding.

It’s Saturday.
𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵?

Most people are doing LinkedIn lead generation completely backwards.

They’re chasing likes, views, and comments but missing the point.
Because lead generation isn’t about chasing people. It’s about connecting with them, building trust, and continuing the conversation long after the first handshake.

Here’s what I see all the time.
Someone posts something clever, gets a few reactions, and assumes it’s working.
But content isn’t connection.
Posting is only the first step.

The magic happens after the post.
When you reply to that comment.
When you send a thoughtful message that references something they said.
When you start building a rhythm of conversation that feels personal, not scripted.

That’s where real business relationships begin.

Here’s the simple structure I follow every week:

1. Start with trust. Ask questions. Listen more than you talk. Don’t pitch.
2. Earn the right to follow up. Use what they’ve said as your bridge. “I liked your comment about...” works far better than “Can I show you my offer?”
3. Move the relationship forward off LinkedIn. Send a voice note. Drop a quick email. The goal isn’t to push them away from the platform, it’s to deepen the connection.
4. Stay consistent. Share insights. Celebrate their wins. Keep showing up with value.

AI might help you write faster, but it can’t build trust for you.
People still buy from people they know, like, and respect.

And the truth is, most professionals already have enough connections. What they lack is a system that turns those connections into conversations that convert naturally.

If you’ve been posting but not getting traction, maybe the problem isn’t visibility. Maybe it’s follow-through.

Because lead generation isn’t just about being seen. It’s about being remembered.

I’ve learned the hard way that winning doesn’t sit still.

Someone said to me recently, “I feel like I’m doing everything right… but I’m still not winning.”

It stopped me because I’ve felt that too.

You show up. You do the work. You try to build momentum. Yet somehow, the finish line keeps moving.

That’s the part no one talks about.
Winning isn’t a single moment. It’s motion.

Just when you think you’ve nailed your message, the algorithm shifts.
Just when your pipeline fills up, the market changes.
Just when it starts to feel easy, the next challenge appears.

And that’s when most people slow down. Or stop.

Because it’s exhausting chasing something that won’t stay still.

But here’s what I’ve learned... the people who keep winning aren’t the ones who find shortcuts.
They’re the ones who learn to move with the target.

They adapt.
They keep showing up when no one’s clapping.
They adjust their aim every single day.

That’s not luck. That’s endurance.

George Washington once said, “The harder the conflict, the greater the triumph.”

And in business (and LinkedIn), that couldn’t be more true.

The hard doesn’t mean you’re off track. It means you’re in the real game. The one that separates those who play for applause from those who play for mastery.

If it feels tough right now, it’s not because you’re failing. It’s because you’re building capacity.

And the longer you stay in that space, the stronger your aim becomes.

Winning is a moving target. Keep moving with it.

Getting rich is everything… or is it?
Because here is the uncomfortable truth most people avoid:

Money will not fix your business, your marketing, or your LinkedIn results if you stay the same person who created the struggle.

That is the real punchline hidden inside 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘙𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘣𝘺 𝘞𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘋. 𝘞𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘴.

People mistake it for a money manual. It is actually a guide on how to think and act like someone who creates value at a level where success becomes unavoidable.

And this matters even more if you are building a business or showing up on LinkedIn.

You cannot produce premium content with scarcity thinking.
You cannot attract high-quality clients while doubting your own ideas.
You cannot scale a business with the same habits that kept it stuck.

Stop copying the top creators on LinkedIn. Build ideas that could only come from you.

Your content should reflect the future you are building, not the chaos you are trying to escape.

𝟯. 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘆.
Show up daily with intention. Consistency compounds faster than inspiration ever will.

𝟰. 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲.
It shifts your tone from needy to confident. People feel that difference instantly.

𝟱. 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘀𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸.
Your mindset is the engine. Your strategy is the vehicle. Without the engine, nothing moves.
