As a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) this role included:
Full responsibility for planning and executing marketing/promotion activities for key signature events: EY Performance Awards, Caribbean Entrepreneur of the Year (CEOY), and Business Outlook series;
Support of marketing and event coordination services to the Canada Barbados Business Association (CBBA) during investment promotion visits to various provinces in Canada.

Successfully realised a 50% saving on time spent managing and coordinating events, as well as a 25% reduction in spend, by successfully focusing on process improvements supported by more assertive negotiating on pricing especially related to coordinating trade shows, event registration processes, and liaising with local and international service providers.

As a volunteer with Carmelite Prisoners’ Interest Organization (CAPIO), I work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to provide eye care services to inmates in different correctional centers.  

I have a strong interest in Ocular prosthesis (a unique blend of two things I love: art and eye health) and Public health for eye care. I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) to broaden my impact in community and public health, with a focus on how it relates to eye healthcare.

Lately, I have also been exploring the artistic side of me, reconnecting with a passion I once left behind.
