In 2018, Samsung was one of the partners for Buffer Festival, a 3-day showcase of cinema screenings spotlighting exclusive video premieres from acclaimed digital creators. Samsung's goal was to create content entirely using only the Samsung S9 phone.

In 2019, Florind developed and implemented Digital Marketing Campaign for "The Longest Day of Smiles," an initiative by Operation Smile Canada to give 1,000 free smiles to children with cleft lips and palates. 👉 Let’s break down “Why It Happens” and “How to Fix It”


Why It Happens:

→ When someone submits a form and lands on the thank-you page, a conversion fires perfectly

→ But if that same user reloads the thank-you page, your tag triggers again

→ Result: The same conversion is counted twice in your ads account


How to Fix It:

→ Open your Google Tag Manager

→ Edit the trigger for your thank-you page

→ Add a condition so the tag fires only once per user

→ This way, even if the user reloads the page, the conversion won’t fire again

FREE GUIDE: Is Your Meta Conversion API Tracking Working Properly? 🤔

Many people test their Meta Conversion API (CAPI) setup through Server GTM (sGTM) in a very common way:

They open Server GTM → visit their website → perform an action (like a purchase) → and see the same event appearing in the Server GTM preview window

At first glance, everything appears to be working perfectly…

But the truth is → Meta Ads often doesn’t record any conversions, even when you see those events inside the sGTM preview

So what’s actually happening?

The issue often lies in how Meta identifies users and attributes conversions.

For CAPI to work correctly, Meta requires the _fbc and _fbp cookies to be passed along with the server event

If these parameters are missing with the browser event, your conversions won’t be matched, and Meta Ads will simply ignore those server-side events

How to See Profit Margin in Google Analytics (GA4) Reports

I think 60% to 70% of people still have no idea that we can create custom metrics in GA4 to calculate Profit Margin

GA4 only tracks Revenue by default

It never knows how much profit you are making unless you teach it

So here’s a simple example that many e-commerce brands can start using today:

If your average profit margin is 30%, just create a Calculated Metric with this formula:

👉 {Purchase revenue} * 0.3

Now GA4 will automatically show your Profit in dashboards

→ Quick Example

Your revenue is: $5000

Profit margin: 30%

Profit = $1500

Do you know how to verify Consent Mode V2 for Server Side Tracking?

If your Consent Mode v2 isn’t properly set up, your Server GTM may still receive data but it won’t be accurate as you expect from server-side tracking

In some cases, it may not track any data at all for Google Ads or GA4


Here’s what can go wrong:

↳ Conversion tracking breaks

↳ Remarketing stops working

↳ Data accuracy in GA4 drops

↳ Campaign optimization suffers


✅ How to Verify It:

Open your Server GTM Preview Mode

Check the incoming client requests for GA4 or GAds

Confirm that each request includes a x-ga-gcs= parameter with values like:

G111 → consent granted for both

G100 → consent denied for both

Make sure the consent state matches the user’s actual choice from the cookie banner

If the gcs parameter is missing then your Consent Mode v2 is not working properly

How to Verify Consent Mode v2 for Google Ads and GA4

Before verifying Consent Mode v2, you have to understand what each consent state code means:


G100 → Consent denied for both ad_storage and analytics_storage

G110 → Consent granted for ad_storage, denied for analytics_storage

G101 → Consent denied for ad_storage, granted for analytics_storage

G111 → Consent granted for both ad_storage and analytics_storage

G1-- → The site does not require consent for ad_storage or analytics_storage


How to verify it: 🤔

↳ Open Developer Tools

↳ Go to the Network tab

↳ Reload your website

↳ Look for requests that contain the [gcs]= parameter in their URLs

↳ The [gcs] parameter represents your consent status in this format: [gcs]=G1[ad_storage][analytics_storage]

↳ Confirm that the [gcs]= value matches the consent provided by the user.


For example:

If both consents are accepted → gcs=G111

If only analytics is accepted → gcs=G101
