Domain Strategy & Services Manager

•Primary contact assigned to customers for the overall monitoring and problem resolution of their communications network.
•Management of all teams that provide services to the customer, including all desktop and network analysts/techs, and all network, server, and IPT engineers assigned to each account.
•Acts in a liaison capacity to facilitate resolution between customer and implementations, incident management, and customer and all other partners and vendors.
•Reviews/examines customer contracts for specific technical and procedural requirements.

•Managed the relationship between the Network Security Operations Center and customer.
•Worked in conjunction with Technical Leads, and Operations Manager to ensure services were delivered as required in the contract and per the customer’s requirements.

•Lead and single handedly managed the process of an entire new backup solution/transition including co-ordination with the GPMO, project managers, the client, the design team members, the tape handling teams, colleagues in the Netherlands, and all site POC’s for tape handling instruction etc. 
•Managed and solely implemented a complete revision/design change for the backup scheme in place, due to Backup Exec 10d software limitations. 
•Monitored and troubleshot all hardware and software related backup issues
•Trained and supervised new recruits to become expert level Backup Exec 10d users.

Systems Engineer

•Single handedly took over and successfully completed the American Family Cut over project. This involved the upgrade of all agent site LANs to either DSL or a fractional 256K T1 circuit. Anywhere up to 22 conversions a day were performed simultaneously.
•After completion of the above project, continued to work in the NSOC in a 24/7/365 environment, monitoring and managing WANs using a variety of state-of-the-art tools to ensure that network performance remained at or above service levels and that outages were addressed quickly and within SLA’s.
•Assisted in the creation and modification of standard processes and procedures.
•Troubleshot network problems, referring to vendor or engineers as appropriate and interfaced with internal and external clients, vendors and personnel in an effort to discover and resolve issues.
•Installed, configured, maintained, and supported network equipment and network operating systems
