As the founding father of the mantro intelligence studio, I set up a service to consult innovation departments on data-based innovation decisions. I have created consulting products that allow mapping and understanding innovation fields based on venture capital data.
Based on this, I have advised leading innovation departments of German industrial companies (Vorwerk, Bosch, Giesecke+Devrient etc.) and built a high revenue business.

As Senior Venture Architect, I was responsible for navigating innovation ideas through the Venture Studio funnel. I set up a data-driven quality gate to evaluate the potential success of startup ideas. To do this, I aggregated publicly available data points such as startup funding data, web traffic and patent data to assess the current market dynamics behind a startup idea.

exaas (Expertise-as-a-Service) was founded as a joint venture between a venture studio and a leading industrial company in the field of machinery equipment.
It is a platform for searching, finding and collaborating with industry and technology experts remotely.
I built up a team, established sales, acquired pilot clients and managed to build an expert network of 500 highly specialised technology experts.

As a venture architect, I have led venture building / company building projects.
I conducted several ideations to discover new business opportunities in different industries and identified a business opportunity in the field of "Remote Technology-Expert Consulting".
After a structured validation of the business idea, we established a joint venture between the venture studio and an industry-leading company.

As a product manager in a corporate spin-off, I was responsible for the strategic positioning of a software for controlling automotive plants (Manufacturing Execution System - MES).
I was leading a data science project to predict production errors in the field of automotive painting and implemented a pilot application at a Chinese automotive plant.

I was responsible for an innovation project for novel autonomous self-driving vehicles in the logistics industry. I planned and orchestrated the market launch and acquired pilot customers in the logistics & FMCG industry.

As assistant to the executive board of a large machinery and plant manufacturing company with a turnover of around 1 billion euros, I was responsible for:
- Managing strategic "board" innovation projects
- Daily support to the members of the executive board and the supervisory board
- Planning international Sales- and Strategy Workshops

Hey, I'm Tobias, an impatient innovator with a special ability to use data to look for breakthrough and unconventional insights. 
I believe that innovation can be a product of careful calculations and not just pure chance🔮. 

My goal 🎯: to eliminate the subjective bias of decision makers that all too often leads to poor innovation decisions.

Having been affected by this bias myself (and still am 😉 ), I am building a data analysis method to measure the dynamics and success potential of business ideas and thus also identify emerging fields of innovation. 

But this is just the beginning. I firmly believe that AI-based co-pilots for innovation decisions will completely change the innovation world ... Maybe there is something in the pipeline 😉📦✨ stay tuned.
