Jan 19 - Jan 20. I held a dual role leading Morningstar's Australian Individual Investor (D2C) business and working within Morningstar's Managed Portfolios business on developing the service experience we offer to advisors.

• Zero to one. Conceived, designed, built and launched Morningstar Next. An entirely new, digital direct to consumer wealth management/advice product for Australian investors. This included shepherding the product from concept, through business case analysis, funding decisions right up to launching, and operating it. 
• Recruited and built a cross-functional product team to design, deliver and operate Morningstar Next.
• Reinvigorated our Australian direct-to-consumer products through partnerships with my local colleagues and global stakeholders.

Karabar Housing Charity

Karabar Housing is a registered charity that provides lower cost housing for the disadvantaged in NSW. We want to help end homelessness and get people back on their feet. 

Each year we save our residents >$150,000 in rent. We've saved residents >$1m over several decades, and plan to save them millions more.

In my time on the board I provided input, analysis and leadership on property acquisitions and partnerships.

• Membership growth: Helped stabilise customer base and lift membership by >10%
• Cultural rejuvenation: Improved staff engagement from the 65th to 97th percentile (independent audit). Introduced progressive incentives such flexi-hours and paternity leave
• Business processes: Implemented portfolio project management, championed productivity tools (Asana, Jira), and simplified business reporting
