My background in Estate Law covers all facets from preparation of complex Wills, Powers of Attorney, Appointment of Enduring Guardianship, Administering Estates (Probate) and Disputed Estate. I completed a master's in applied laws (Wills & Estates and Estate Planning) through the College of Law in 2017.

Started as Accounting Manager for Hyundai Automotive Distributor Australia before later being promoted into the role of Australian General Manager of one of the biggest Singapore-listed conglomerates in Australasia, (Cycle and Carriage Singapore), I oversaw the group's Information Services of the three import and distribution brands in Australia – Audi, Hyundai, and Chrysler Jeep. Here I established and led a new Information Services Division, implemented an information services structure and system, contributed to revolutionising customer and supplier experience. I also improved the visibility of key metrics while enhancing reporting capabilities, connecting all systems, and ensuring transparency.

Our dealer management system, Autonet, became the best-in-breed globally. I integrated it into an ERP that serviced the entire organisation – and its customers. This system became the beating heart of the company, and it was here I fully realised the importance of customer-centric strategy and how to thrive in a fast-changing, uncertain environment.

Working with the senior management team at this large organisation, I advocated for best practice in the establishment of a franchise system for Avis in Australia. I oversaw both the design and implementation of the system, from initial concept and ideation to go-live. I assessed accounting processes and operations systems and played a key role in uncovering the inner workings of the business. Avis was the leading company at the time with rapid growth, which made the environment extremely complex and rapidly evolving.

I started with Jaguar Rover Australia as a Business Analyst, overseeing cost accounting, management accounting, and financial accounting. A proactive achiever, I set up an accounting system and revolutionised the cost accounting platform for Landrover here in Australia – this was a high-profile project that had been tendered by the Australian government. Following these successes I was quickly promoted, yet I never burnt bridges.

Having recently completed a degree in Economics and Accounting at the University of Sydney, I was doing an Honours Grad Dip in Electronic Processing. The Dean of the school recommended me to Deloitte. I wanted to kick-start my career in the right role, and Deloitte gave me the opportunity to work in electronic data processing audits during the early days of computing. It was an exciting time to be with one of the best accounting and consultancy practices in the world, innovating client service delivery.

I assessed the integrity of processes, reviewed transactions to ensure reporting met accounting standards, and verified computer-produced information. I’ve always been interested in innovation and to this day am happy to tread unchartered territory.

As a business strategist, I am not like ‘pop-up’ business coaches who typically overpromise and underdeliver. I am a strategist, through and through. 

Initially a Certified Practising Accountant, over the years my leadership has spanned business development, operations, human resources, improving financial controls, systems and strategy. Numerous successes led to my being a GM of a $1.4 billion company, all while undertaking a doctorate in business administration. MBA qualified, I have since led my team at BGES to secure multiple accolades. 

As a person of my word, through profit-sharing arrangements, I am willing to put skin in the game, if you’d like. I enjoy driving achieving financial growth.  

A straight shooter with a bias for action, I am objective in sharing my perspective with you, bringing clarity and all-important light-bulb moments.
