As someone who is naturally curious, who thrives in a dynamic environment, and loves diving deeper with individuals to fully understand their situations, goals, or challenges, I'm actively fulfilling the prophecy that I've been told from a young age by my entire family - "You'll either be a lawyer or you'll grow up to be a successful salesman" they'd say.

From boutique fitness studios to commercial gyms with over 3,000 members, and more recently as an Account Specialist serving some of Bullhorn’s largest, most complex clients, I've had the opportunity to refine go-to-market strategies that were adopted at a company-wide scale, implement recruiting and onboarding processes that reduced ramp times by up to 50%, and built relationships with both customers and team members that are stronger than ever today.

Dream job that I lost due to Covid 💩

• Answered calls and emails from all over the world about TRX products, the worldwide leader in suspension training
• Spanish was very useful
• Promoted to working with the MAPS support team. A MAPS kiosk performs a full body scan in under 30 seconds to assess how well the body moves
• Working with MAPS I had to coordinate between sales reps, commercial customers, and technicians
• I had to learn a lot of specifics about the product, and my day to day required using lots of technological jargon
• Manage TRX Professional Education Course enrollments and education profiles via NetSuite, ZenDesk, Jira, and SalesForce CRMs
• Provide support for shipment routing and tracking for both Ground and LTL Freight shipping
• Coordinate RMA/returns for e-Commerce and Commercial Sales, including LTL Freight returns for prosumer and third-party partners
• Provide support/information to contractors, architects and structural engineers with installation of commercial anchoring solutions

Commercial Customer Service Representative

Actually started in November 2019, 3 weeks after they opened, and worked until September of 2021, but wanted my professional work to show up first 🙃

Tip percentage still growing, up to 22.3%, 2nd highest on the staff. All about that growth baby! 

As of December 2021 I was one of their top regulars, but obviously don't go as much since I'm a sober dad now! I still go there occasionally on Sundays to watch my New York Giants since they are one of the few local bars with NFL Sunday Ticket.

Server

Marin Brewing Company

I worked as a server at Marin Brewing Company, which was located directly across from my old job, Rustic Bakery. I would often see the same guests who are pleasantly surprised to see my there. While there aren't as many regulars as at Rustic Bakery, the regulars at Brew Co spend more time there, and expect to be treated like they are in their own home. I did a good job of making the guests at both jobs feel like they are at home, as evidenced by my high tip percentage of 21.5%.

The venerable Marin Brewing, which opened its doors on April Fool’s Day 1989, closed its doors on January 31, 2022. RIP Brew Co 😢

World Language Connection

I taught beginning Spanish, with ages ranging from 5-11. Position requires proficient knowledge of the language, organization, public speaking skills, and the ability to entertain, while maintaining a serious environment. Of course patience is key, as kids don't always have the attention span I wish they would : )

Spanish Teacher

RUSTIC BAKERY

I mostly worked as a cashier at a fast paced organic bakery. There are hundreds of regulars, and many expect to not only be remembered, but to have their orders remembered as well.

I began working as a cashier with very little training because the general manager was on vacation. When she returned I worked more as a busser, where I was a valuable asset, as I would  fill in as a cashier when needed, and break the other cashiers so the managers wouldn't have to. Then when I started opening for the Bay Club, I had to switch to being the closer, so I had to learn to be barista as well. Monday through Wednesday I would work 4:45 AM to noon at the Bay Club, then work 1-7 at Rustic Bakery; this shows I am capable of working an arduous day, and if I really want to do something, I can accomplish it. 

This job was initially just supposed to be a summer job, so I was never really considered for a managerial position, but I liked it so much that I decided to stay for longer than just a summer. In my finals months there, I carried myself in a way that people often asked if I was the owner.

Bay Club Marin

I opened the gym and worked the front desk from 4:45 AM to noon Monday through Wednesday. Waking up for this job while working 50-60 hours a week is probably the most difficult thing I have ever done in my life. Very high profile members such as Jerry Rice and Lt. Gov Gavin Newsom. When I worked the café, I did it by myself, which helped me to manage my time better. After my shift ended at 12, I would usually briefly work out, then rush over to Rustic Bakery and work from 1-7!

Being the best man for my wife Katia McKennee, and our little man Jackson is my #1 priority in life. The steps to thrive at those things also result in me being the best version of myself professionally and personally. 

I'm here to grow and help others along the way 🚀 

I am a former college athlete, with a strong work ethic and dynamic energy. I worked in restaurants for 11 years, then made the natural transition to customer service at TRX in April of 2019. As someone who used TRX in college, it was a seamless transition. Unfortunately I was laid off along with 40 others due to the pandemic, and bounced around for a few years as many did.

I've been in sales since June of 2022, and wish I had jumped in straight out of college like so many people do! My parents were both in sales and I wanted to blaze my own path... rejecting that sales was in my blood all along. The transition was just as smooth as my move to TRX was! I obtained 133% quota during my time in my first ever sales role, and have been growing as a person and seller ever since. Increasing my emotional intelligence makes me a better seller, husband, father, and friend.

I quit drinking Valentine's Day of 2022 and I'm very proud of that 💪 Meditating and/or doing Buddhist chanting everyday has been a crucial aspect of controlling my energy to harness my success.
