The last six months were the toughest for me. I took the negative and the positive, far more of the first than the second, but I focused on filtering it out to stay the course. Those I thought were on board never showed up to board the bus, and those I did not count on pushed the bus when it broke down. What a lesson in human nature and the capital-raising process.

When Afore Capital first backed Grant and the Gamma team, Gamma was just an idea. That bet became a $100M ARR company built profitably with a team of just 50 people.
