I’ve carried the responsibility of $1B contracts and P&Ls up to $115M, and led major transformation programs impacting more than 6,000 people. Most recently, I ran an AI data company with 1,000+ people across Madagascar and Mauritius.

Participated as a judge nine of the last eleven years in the Inter-university Project Management Competition held every November since 2010. The competition is organized by UQAM and supported by PMI Montreal and involves over 150 students from various Canadian universities. Very unique and rewarding experience!

Judge (KGP)

Shared the teaching workload with other university professors and teaching assistants on three courses to graduate students enrolled in the project management masters program:

-MGP7225: The course involved the resolution of selected project case studies. Similar to the two previous years, a very rewarding course to teach and to learn from others' experiences.

-MGP7137: Participated in the simulation of project management processes in a real-time multi-project environment involving over 80 graduate students, one university professor and three other teaching assistants. The students were assigned a specific role (from CEO down to PCO) and during the nine-hour simulation period were required to execute client mandates and manage unexpected events introduced by the teaching staff. A very intense and fast-paced weekend - a great learning experience for all the participants.

-MGP7121: The course objectives included understanding and applying the theories, concepts, practices, tools and techniques needed to plan, execute, monitor and control projects in an efficient and effective manner. It was very rewarding to teach this core program course with another professor.

Teaching Assistant/Chargé de cours

Participated in the simulation of project management processes in a real-time multi-project environment involving over 90 graduate students, two university professors and two other teaching assistants (MGP7137). The students were assigned a specific role (from CEO down to PCO) and during the nine-hour simulation period were required to execute client mandates and to manage unexpected events introduced by the teaching staff.

Shared the teaching workload with a university professor to teach a course on case study and resolution to graduate students enrolled in the project management masters program (MGP7225). We benefited from working together the previous year to update and improve the course material. Similar to last year, very rewarding to teach and be able to share my project management experience and knowledge with others.

Provided program management support to the program manager and eight project managers assigned to a major initiative to migrate selected technologies to a new platform in a virtual environment.

For the last two months I provided program management support to a program director and eleven project managers assigned to a major initiative to improve operational resilience (robustness) for critical business processes, including the implementation of an isolated environment to deal with potential ransom ware attacks.

Participated in PMI Montreal's Mentorship Program during the 2021/2022 session. As a mentor, I met separately with two mentorees on a regular basis over a six-month period to provide guidance, suggestions and feedback regarding mutually agreed-upon objectives. This session was much more challenging compared to my previous participation in the program, as the two mentorees had very different objectives and expectations to discuss and develop during our time together.

Participated in PMI Montreal's Mentorship Program during the 2020/2021 session. As a mentor, I met with a mentoree on a regular basis over a six-month period to provide guidance, suggestions and feedback regarding mutually agreed-upon objectives. Similar to my previous participation in this program, I found the mutual exchange of ideas with my mentoree very rewarding and interesting.

Provided overall project management for the implementation of a Perpetual Inventory and Store Automated Ordering (Forecast and Replenishment) solution for Metro grocery banners.

Participated in PMI Montreal's Mentorship Program during the 2019/2020 session. As a mentor, I met with a mentoree on a regular basis over a six-month period to provide guidance, suggestions and feedback regarding mutually agreed-upon objectives. I also benefited from this relationship to learn about new online resources and teaching opportunities from my mentoree.

Provided overall project management to implement the following projects and mandates:

-Mobile Phone Provisioning: Define and implement a new mobile phone provisioning architecture that integrates with the existing Operations Support System (OSS) and a new Business Support System (BSS) provided by a third-party vendor.

-TRUNK SIP Service: Develop and implement a new VoIP telephone service with an IP interface for small businesses equipped with a private branch exchange (PBX).

-Residential Pricing Increases: Support marketing in communicating and implementing pricing increases for selected residential television and internet services in accordance with business objectives for 2019.

-Online Billing Notification Upgrade: Upgrade the enterprise email notification service (Genesys) to provide a foundation for major increases in online billing transactions and related marketing campaigns.

-Marketing Campaign Manager: Support marketing in implementing a campaign manager for sending customer emails, SMS and print correspondence based on a Cloud architecture provided by a third-party vendor.

-CRTC Code TMO Improvements: Implement the business improvements identified during the Code TMO project to reduce the operational, marketing and financial impacts resulting from the new wireless code.

-CRTC Code TMO: Implement the regulatory changes to the wireless code announced by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) by the 1 DEC 2017 deadline.

-Managed WiFi Solution: Update existing IT services to integrate a new managed WiFi service for medium and large business customers based on a Cloud architecture provided by a third-party vendor.

-Hybrid Fibre Private Network: Update existing IT services to integrate the order intake, provisioning, activation and support of a new Hybrid Fibre Private Network product developed for business customers.
