Achieving this has drawn on my three key work passions
* Through the implementation of OKRs I helped colleague understand the 'why?'
* Collectively we promoted inclusion and psychological safety with the teams we worked in
* I helped strengthen the bond between strategy and execution.

I also learned from working with a rapidly growing and highly capable technology organisation as part of the leadership team. 

And learned from the things I’ve tried that didn’t work and continue to do so!

In a technical product management role, I pioneered the use of semantic technology at Pearson, with a purpose of connecting data to provide organisational, content and customer insights. Created the strategy for linked data and formed a vision that spanned the key data that drives Pearson. 

Led a team that built the first Pearson tool to utilise semantic technology.

Department head, accountable for the solution design, technical strategy, development and business fit of global content related products. Launched an image management product for educational content authors.
Accountable for three significant international digital products. Led a team of c. 45 mixed domain people.

Brought on board in an interim role to kick-start the implementation of corporate web based content management systems. Accountable for re-focusing the programme and fast tracking a return on investment. Introduced Agile techniques to this inflight programme.

Director level consultant, leading engagements with EMC’s highest profile clients all with budgets exceeding £1m. Consulted on transformation and change management for clients in a range of sectors, including finance, insurance and oil and gas.

As an Account Director and Country Manager, I worked for corporate multinationals Globe Telecom, Alcatel-Lucent, Ruckus Wireless and Vodafone. I served fortune 500 and large government accounts-- Shell Global, Citibank, Globe Telecom, Smart, PLDT, MOE NZ, Spark and Vodafone.

Winning beachhead accounts, created and developed channel sales programs for Telco and networking companies.

I have an MBA in Business, leadership and sales coaching certifications. I have a business in import-export and retail trade and consulting for SaaS and Tech businesses.

How do you reflect on your year?

Do you do a deep dive, or do you prefer a quick pulse check? What tools do you use?...


Are you Team Notion, a pen-and-paper traditionalist, or someone with a system you return to every year?

This week, I’m carving out time to do my annual review using the framework from Anne-Laure Le Cunff, PhD.

I’ve long admired her work at Ness Labs and her book TINY EXPERIMENTS.

What resonates with me about her approach is how grounded it is in MINDFUL metacognition.

→ Instead of getting lost in spreadsheets or surface-level summaries, it creates space to SLOW DOWN and notice patterns in how we think, decide, and show up.


I come back to these four prompts every time:

↳ What went well? (Celebrating the small and big wins)

↳ What didn't go so well? (Looking at the friction points without judgment)

↳ What did I learn? (Turning those experiences into actionable wisdom)

↳ What am I looking forward to? (Setting intentions, not just rigid goals)


The framework also covers 9 DIMENSIONS of life, from work and business to health and fitness, which helps me step back and see the full picture rather than just one slice of it.

As someone who works in enterprise environments, I see the same principle apply in SALES AND LEADERSHIP.

Progress doesn’t come from rushing forward. It comes from pausing long enough to understand:

→ Where energy was well spent, where it wasn’t.

→ What needs to change before the next cycle begins.

For me, this time is about creating space to reflect deeply on 2025.

We don’t just manage time. We manage energy and headspace.


→ Reviewing my calendar and journal reminded me that the moments where I invested energy intentionally had the greatest impact, even if they looked small at the time.
