In a technical product management role, I pioneered the use of semantic technology at Pearson, with a purpose of connecting data to provide organisational, content and customer insights. Created the strategy for linked data and formed a vision that spanned the key data that drives Pearson.

Communications in IT is always essential. Intensive internal communications, support and guidance for users are all essential for successful implementation and sustainable management of a new system, as well as securing it for the future. A good implementation process means not only installing a new application (or software system); but making sure it can be used by people on the work floor!
