Achieving this has drawn on my three key work passions

In a technical product management role, I pioneered the use of semantic technology at Pearson, with a purpose of connecting data to provide organisational, content and customer insights. Created the strategy for linked data and formed a vision that spanned the key data that drives Pearson.

If you are designing a corporate or government-sponsored program that works with external startups, I can help you figure out how to recruit the startups, what to offer them, how to get internal stakeholders on board, how to structure the program itself, how to recruit mentors, how to get the teams funded after your program and to figure out how your program can play nicely with other programs in your ecosystem. 

I also help large public and private companies, government agencies, and impact-driven organizations implement "innovation at scale" using Lean Startup principles, hypothesis-driven product development, and evidence-based (stage-gate) investment governance. 

I ask entrepreneurs and enterprise innovators, "What problem are you solving"​ and then I help them design and run experiments to prove the problem, test the solution, or grow. Lean Startup is my favorite tool, but I have many to help them minimize waste, reduce risk, go faster, and ultimately succeed faster.  Sometimes I bribe founders to do their first 5 REAL ethnographic discovery interviews.
