Years ago, I remember scrolling through LinkedIn and seeing people share their wins:

→ New jobs
→ Speaking gigs
→ Book deals
→ Clients pouring in

I was happy for them, but I asked myself:

“Why not me?”
“Am I falling behind?”


I wasn’t bitter, I was just tired.
Tired of doing the work and seeing no results.
Tired of clapping with empty hands.

But something shifted when I stopped treating other people’s success as a threat.
I started treating it as evidence.
Proof that it was possible.

So I clapped louder.
Not out of obligation, but out of hope.

Because if it’s happening for them,
It means it can happen for me.
And if I can celebrate others in their moment,
I’ll be more than ready when mine arrives.

Today, I don’t scroll with envy.
I scroll with belief.
I know my turn is coming, and when it does,

14 years ago, I've came across a decision that changed my life.



We were broke.
No jobs. No money. Just us.

He kept getting rejected.
And he was dealing with things most people couldn’t see.

He bought me a ring anyway.
On a credit card that was already maxed out.

Not because it made sense.
Because I mattered to him.

That’s when I knew.

We were living at his parents’ house.

I didn’t have a green card.
I couldn’t work.
We couldn’t afford to get married.
And I didn’t speak English.

The future looked bright… I thought :)

I am a woman of faith.

God changes everything.

Today, our lives have changed.

We have three kids.
They’re everything.

He shows up for them every day.
That’s what matters.

We have a home.
Nothing fancy. Just home.

He’s written three books.

I’ve spent years working in tech.
Now I’m building something of my own.

I’m a US citizen now.
I speak English confidently.

Most important part?
We’re still here.
Still choosing each other.
Still growing.

Marrying the right person changed my life.

↳ Write 3 wins, close the laptop, step away.  
↳ Completion beats perfection every time.

7. Build emotional buffers  
↳ One mindful breath before every meeting.  
↳ Calm is your new competitive edge.

No title is worth losing yourself.

If you have to make yourself smaller to fit in,

it’s time to find a space built for growth.

It’s not a confidence issue, it’s a context issue.
