I help women leaders and changemakers own their voice and build personal brands rooted in identity, clarity and purpose.

Much of my work supports women who are capable, experienced and mission-driven, but feel overlooked, unseen or unsure how to communicate the value of what they carry. They know they are called to more, but don’t want to lose themselves trying to be visible.

My approach to personal branding is identity-led. Not trend-driven. Not performative.

When identity is clear, confidence steadies. Messaging sharpens. Presence strengthens. Visibility becomes intentional rather than exhausting.

Alongside my work as a personal brand strategist, I am a keynote speaker, facilitator and MC, working with organisations, networks and events to support leaders and teams around voice, identity, presence and purpose-led leadership. My sessions are grounded, practical and reflective, helping people communicate with clarity and confidence rather than performance.

I am also a broadcaster, author and the founder of Heartsong Live Radio, a values-led radio station I built from the ground up and grew onto mainstream DAB. Creating platforms where voices are heard, valued and elevated is not just what I teach. It is what I live.

As the first African woman to start a radio station in Scotland, my career has been shaped by navigating leadership, visibility and identity in spaces where women are often expected to shrink. That lived experience informs how I support others.

My work sits at the intersection of purpose, mission and profit. I believe meaningful work deserves to be resourced, and women should not have to choose between impact and sustainability.

I have literally just got home from speaking at Glasgow Caledonian University for the Future Leader Experience, in the Small Group Conversations with Common Purpose. 

It was genuinely lovely connecting with so many future leaders, hearing their ideas, and having real conversations that were honest and hopeful.

I shared my leadership journey and kept it simple.

Leadership is not a title. It is influence. It is choosing to take responsibility for what you can see, even before you feel ready.

I took them back to where it all started me. Always love sharing my story. From organising concerts, to pulling people together and creating space. 

I quickly learned that people didnt just want an event. They wanted a place where they feelt seen, heard and their voice mattered which led to creating platforms such as Heartsong Live Radio and Adelphe Connect. 

I also shared a framework that I live by. As a leader, you are an I.C.O.N.

I. Identity: Know who you are, who you’re called to, what you stand for, your message and the solution that you bring.

C. Clarity: Clarity does not always come from thinking. It comes from taking action. Take the next step, and you learn what works, what not to do or what to do more of. Most leaders do not have it all figured out. They learn on the job. 

O. Opportunities: Say yes to opportunities. I love this Richard Branson line “If someone offers you an amazing opportunity and you are not sure you can do it, say yes, then learn how to do it later.”

N. Narrative: Your story matters. Not the polished version. The honest one. Your journey can give someone else permission to start, and to keep going.

These are some lessons I have learnt along the long way and still learning. Especially the part about staying consistent with the vision when it is quiet, messy, or slower than you planned.

Leadership is nurturing your vision. Nobody gives birth to a baby and abandons them. You carry it, protect it, feed it, and stay with it until it can stand.

Today I realised I have been expecting myself to be superwoman again. 😉😜☺️

You know when you wake up tired, already behind, and you still have to “turn on the lights” for everyone else. 

You still have to show up, lead, respond, plan, decide, and carry the energy. That has been me lately.

Because behind the scenes, some really exciting things are happening with Adelphe Connect. We are building, tightening, and putting things in place that will make the work stronger and more sustainable.

And it matters to me because Adelphe is not just a project. It is people. It is women who need support that feels safe and practical. It is a vision I cannot shake.

But some days, I do not “have it”. Some days I am tired of being the one who keeps it moving. Some days I want to pause everything, but life does not pause. Then I catch myself feeling guilty for being human.

So I am practising something new. I am being kinder to myself in real time, in the middle of the juggle. And with that kindness, I am giving myself permission to go slow and do it properly.

I have seen the “2016 is the new 2026” trend going around on instagram. I do not usually join trends, but this one I wanted to join 😉 and for good reasons. 

Because 2016 was a turning point for me.

In 2014, I released my first album, Arise. It was gentle. It was honest.

But by 2016, something had shifted. I was tired of being put in a box. Tired of shrinking. Tired of second-guessing what I already knew was in me.

So I titled my second album “Unrestrained”. Oh the backlash I got for the title and my album cover. The album was released at Engage 2016, our flagship worship event. 

That year, the mandate was to organise a mass choir too which saw people from different denominations come together to be a part of the choir, I still remember the moments leading up to the event and the atmosphere in the room on the day. That moment when my album was released felt like more than a music release. It felt like permission.

Around that same season, I was also studying a Master’s in Digital Marketing at RGU. I started in 2015, but 2016 was when it really stretched me. I was finding language for what I was building, and courage for what I was becoming.

I am grateful for the journey so far and everything it has come with. The wins, the lessons, the growing pains, the people, the open doors, and the closed doors that saved me.

Three lessons I have learnt on this journey  
	👉Your next level usually starts with one brave decision. Not a perfect plan. A decision.
	👉Confidence grows by movement. Clarity comes when you act, not when you wait.
	👉Being yourself costs you some approval, and it gives you your life back.

There’s a quote people often attribute to Martin Luther King Jr: “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” The wording is widely shared, but the original source is debated, and that is fine because the message still stands.

1. No job, running my own business of motorbike parts.

I'm not gonna lie, switching off, uninstalling IS HARD!!!

Reason?

CHANGE!!!!

We are creatures of habit, it's very difficult to break a pattern or habit

Especially when its something we love!

Ranging from the wise ones like Kimberly Maurer  BS, LPN, Pearl mum, the new people with "blocking threats" like Suzy big sis hehe, to the ones whom I'm with everyday like Phyllis big sis, Ireland big sis, Rachelle mama, Sophie big sis!

And the list goes on!

To tell u all, I'm going to the White Sand Desert in the Rann of Kutch....a BEAUTIFUL PLACE!

And best part, with my mum!

So definitely it's difficult for me to NOT come online here...I'll miss u guys so so so much!!

But what's needed is needed

So on Monday, the 19th, I'm off to a trip to The Rann Of Kutch, the white sand desert in my country !

And guess with whom, WITH MY MOM!

My first ever trip with her for 5 days, and gosh I'm so so excited!!!

Now a suggestion, should I continue posting here, or uninstall Linkedin altogether?

I mean...I'll miss u guys and at the same time, want to be completely with mum!

GIVING RELATIONSHIP A SECOND CHANGE

Poll time! 

And yes, the last "real help" poll before 19th, otherwise, my Suzy big sis will get me blocked for being online on a trip 😱😱❤️ (love u for that big sis hehe)

Anyways....so I was speaking to my ex date today, we had a long conversation....and she said one thing

"We all deserve a second chance, I made a mistake, I'm ready to amend it....together"

Emphasis on the last word.

To put into context, she's the one who had cheated on me for another stranger...and it seems that didn't work out that well for her

Now...I am confused

1. One side says I want to not take a chance, once a cheat is always a cheat 

2. Other side wants to forgive and become a friend...but not jump into dating.

And ..yeah this is what is going on right now

And tomorrow, I'll be meeting her in college 😱

So guys, help your boy out pls 🙏🙏🙏.

Should I give that relationship a second chance?

I gotta thank Rachael mum for today's post.

It took me back to a past experience of mine, with a few people, even someone here on this platform (the same..."you're draining" person)

When I mentioned about the emotional abuse and trauma with dad, I was actually asked a couple of things

1. Why aren't u medicating yourself ?
2. Your trauma is gonna make u diseased, where is your list of medicines?

And I was APPALLED, and I actually had some tears in my eyes 🥺🥺

Why u ask? This is a simple question right?

Not exactly...because

Why do we take medicine? Especially when its related to our mind... definitely there's a thing of being "diseased"... 

Not in the general sense..but if u read the 2nd question, the thing of "diseased" comes more upfront.

No I'm not pitying myself...it's not to spread weakness.

It's to make one thing clear

TRAUMA IS NOT DISEASE!!!!

It's an unpleasant experience, can be an aftermath to something very serious, but no it's definitely NOT A DISEASE

Speaking to loved ones, self care practices WITHOUT adding a foreign chemical can DEFINITELY help!

So whenever u see trauma and disease coming as one thing...

SPEAK UP!  Look at the way people like Kimberly Maurer  BS, LPN , Rachael mum, Alice big sis, Cheryl mama speak up, they don't wanna bring comfort, they wanna bring A REVOLUTION!

And I don't stand up to these queens, not even the slightest, but I can just do my bit, to speak what I feel is the truth!

So again, never hesitate to use your voice, IT MATTERS!
