How a 5-minute job prevented a brand from losing thousands in repeat revenue post Black Friday. 


BFCM started today for one of our brands.

Our paid ads were scheduled for today, and sales started to pour in this morning.

The brand’s Post-Purchase flow (which we don’t manage yet) wasn’t firing for a key product segment.

Got up this morning, brewed my TrueStart Coffee, sat down, opened the laptop to monitor everything and…

The product name that triggers the flow was wrong.

Meaning, customers were not entering the flow.

Leaving thousands on the table.

So I stepped in.

Product name changed, profiles back populated, job’s done.


Takeaway:
If your paid ads agency doesn’t request Klaviyo access, then you should consider working with an agency that goes beyond paid ads in 2026 or can manage both channels.

Paid Social + Retention Marketing for Category-Defining DTC Brands | Founder at Envu Media

I’ve been in hibernation for the past 8 weeks because of this particular week.

The Black Friday week has officially started, and our brands are already seeing over 2x growth YoY.

It’s one of the most important weeks for DTC brands.

Months of funnel building leading to this moment. 

Everything has to be executed perfectly.

Every bug or mistake must be troubleshooted within the same hour.

Communication must be razor sharp. 

Everyone is on deck, available at all times to deliver the best results possible.


This is where elite teams separate from average ones.


While preparing our brands for the BFCM week, the team has grown again to match the demand (say hello to Jennifer Mussell), handled more inbound enquiries than ever and welcomed two wonderful brands like PerfectTed and MUTO.
