As a certified Master Instructional Designer, Change Management and Sales Effectiveness Professional, my experience in Human Performance Management and sales best practices enable me to design highly relevant sales programs made up of accessible information, support assistance, communication, reinforcement, scenario-based eLearning courses, performance training, and OTJ coaching that accelerate and maintain sales productivity. 

I spent five years on the Purdue wrestling team, where I received All Big Ten honors, qualified for the NCAA tournament, and won the 2015 Most Dedicated Wrestler award at Purdue University. The sport of wrestling has instilled exceptionally high levels of accountability, ownership and dedication in me. The most influential lesson I took away from the sport was to "get comfortable while being uncomfortable." I'm able to maintain a high-degree of energy and enthusiasm when adversity strikes.

Most importantly, I'm a husband and father of two young daughters. Sharing my love of exploring nature, hiking through the woods, and reading books with my family has been the most enjoyable and rewarding experiences of my life. In fact, I'm so passionate about learning and development that my wife and I are homeschooling our daughters.

Having a camera on during virtual training does not ensure engagement.

- asking a question every 2-3 min
- pausing/prompting everyone to think/do
- cold calling on someone to answer 
- asking people to elaborate on what they learned in their own words
- having people generate something new
- facilitating realistic practice and feedback
- etc...

Centre for Sustainable Energy

In my role, I aid people in fuel poverty by providing fuel vouchers for people on prepayment meters. This involves excellent attention to detail when checking whether evidence meets the scheme criteria to approve/reject applications. I speak to many customers in vulnerable situations on the phone, providing supportive, empathetic and effective customer service. I liaise with third parties, including charities, councils and housing agencies, to assist with client applications and ensure the correct evidence is submitted. This requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Our small team must cooperate and communicate consistently to ensure clients receive the assigned vouchers without mistakes or duplications. Fluency in all Microsoft packages has been integral to this role.

Grants Administrator

Express Uniform

Retail assistant at Express Uniform, supplying uniform to a number of schools across Cheshire, including a number of prestigious schools. Provided welcoming, friendly customer service 
tailoring approach to meet diverse needs of parents and children. Involved in organisation, stock-taking and order-fulfilment of storage unit to optimise efficiency. Processed accurate and smooth financial transactions on the cash register.

Klass is a women's clothing company with stores across the UK. I worked as a retail assistant providing welcoming and friendly customer service. I completed accurate and smooth financial transactions on the cash register. I also did regular stock takes and kept the shop floor presentable and to a very high standard.

Retail Assistant

As a Master’s student studying Human Geography at the University of Bristol and a Grant Administrator at the Centre for Sustainable Energy, I am extremely passionate about making a positive impact on the community and advocating for a sustainable future. 

In my role at the Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE), I grant fuel vouchers to people experiencing energy poverty. This position requires strong attention to detail and teamwork, and has allowed me to make a direct, positive impact—something incredibly important to me. Liaising with and aiding clients and third parties with applications and queries has consolidated my verbal and written communication skills.

Throughout my Undergraduate Geography degree at the University of Bristol, I have gained valuable skills and knowledge that I am excited to apply in the professional world, including exceptional written communication and time-management skills. During my final year, I also completed the Bristol PLUS Award, recognizing my commitment to professional development and proactive approach to enhancing my skills.

Additionally, my background in customer service as a Sales Assistant facilitated the development of clear communication and collaboration skills, allowing me to deliver exceptional service to clients. I have built on these foundations to provide excellent service in a range of scenarios across various roles.

Looking ahead, I aspire to utilize my passion and knowledge in geography and sustainability to pursue a career that champions impactful initiatives and projects, centering on community engagement and equity.
