For years I focused on optimising digestion physically.

Warm meals.
Spices.
Rhythm.

And yes — that matters.

But I’ve also learned this:

Sometimes what sits heavy isn’t food.

It’s unspoken resentment.
Unprocessed disappointment.
A pace that’s too fast.
A yes that should have been a no.

In Ayurveda, digestion is transformation.

If we can’t metabolise experience, it accumulates.

Not always as dramatic illness.

But as:

Let me say this clearly.

Menopause has not been a horror story for me.

It’s been a transition.

Yes — my body is changing.
Yes — rhythms shift.
Yes — it asks differently now.

But I feel clearer than ever.

Stronger in boundaries.
More discerning.
More aligned.

And I believe that’s because I chose to support the transition — not fight it.

From a Dosha lens:
