Working On Your Business Vs Working Within Your Business — Which Is Better?

💙 What Jane Goodall Taught Me About Leadership, Branding & Legacy.. 🙏 🙏 

Jane Goodall didn’t just study animals, 

She rewrote how we think about humanity.

When she began observing chimpanzees in 1960 with no formal training, people doubted her.
But she documented tool use, complex emotions, and deep relationships—
 …which shattered the belief that these traits were “only human.”

➡️ She didn’t just change science.
➡️ She changed how we see ourselves.

Jane passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2025, at age 91.
But her legacy lives on through the Jane Goodall Institute, Roots & Shoots, and millions she inspired globally.

As a business coach, here’s what I take from her life:

🔹 1. Courage > Credentials
Jane wasn’t a trained scientist when she began.
But she had relentless curiosity.
→ Don’t wait for “enough experience.” Start. Learn. Lead.

🔹 2. Empathy is a Business Advantage
She named and observed chimps as individuals, not data.
→ Treat clients, audiences, and teams like people—not numbers.

🔹 3. Mission-Driven Messaging Wins
Her goal wasn’t just to “study chimps.”
It was to give youth hope and protect the planet.
 → If you sell a course, product, or service, make the mission bigger than the offer.

🔹 4. Long-Term Consistency Builds Authority
From 1960 to 2025, she stayed on mission.
→ Whether you're growing a brand or building a client base, legacy = consistency.

🔹 5. Values Matter More Than Tactics
Her message echoed Gandhi:
“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”
→ How we treat the “least powerful” says everything about who we are.

What I’ll remember about Jane:
She taught us that hope is a strategy—
…and that compassion can scale.

In business and in life:
→ You don’t need to be loud to lead.
→ You don’t need a degree to make a difference.
→ You don’t need permission to start.

When I first started my business, I focused on my services, the features, the pricing, the packages.
