Double Trouble Theatre 

📍 From 2019 onwards, having paid royalty fees for stage plays, I’ve been running my own theatre company. My involvement in the company includes:
▪️ acting,
▪️ puppeteering,
▪️ puppet design,
▪️ scenography.

📍 My theatre company was founded on values which I consider important. The importance of these values, as it turns out, is being recognized, so much that they see application within various organizations - where they facilitate management, business processes, leadership and other vital spheres of activity. It motivated me to dive deeper into the subject and begin putting my knowledge into practice. As of today, I have almost 5 years of experience in fixing and optimizing the performance of various organizations.

 📍 Despite fierce competition, I still manage to find contract work abroad, not just Poland, which makes the quality of my (our) work more evident.
Such contracts are usually obtained by either: hearing about them through the grapevine, being noticed and contacted by an agent, or via cold calling - in the case of the latter, I utilize promotional material (trailers, performance recordings, pictures, story summaries). It’s crucial that I weigh my words during these important conversations. This is where my skills, honed on the stage and via business networking, come in - these are also the skills that I teach during my cooperation with various institutions.

📍 One of my core strengths is my determination and fast learning abilities. Łukasz Puczko made me an offer to co-run his theatre company because he understood that I put my heart and soul into my work.


📍 During my work for this theatre company, I perfected a dog puppet animation technique to a level where it was difficult to tell whether it was a puppet or an actual, living animal. In mere 3 months, via duplication exercises, I achieved a level of mastery normally requiring 9 years of continuous practice. I have raised my acting ability to a festival level.

📍 My involvement in the company includes:
▪️ puppet design / maintenance,
▪️ preparing the puppets for the performance,
▪️ representing the company internationally,
▪️ building relationships with event organizers - thanks to my efforts we were invited to the following festival,
▪️ tracking activity of other theater companies/freelancers in order to improve our own strategies.

📍 It’s usually rare for one to be invited back to the next iteration of a particular festival without changing one’s repertoire. It is a feat that we have managed to accomplish, however, which by itself is a testament to the quality of our work. This proves how important it is to invest time into building customer relationships in order to leave a lasting impression.

📍 Being an experienced thespian, I’m able to provide valuable assistance to:
▪️ leaders,
▪️ individual team members,
▪️ entire teams.

📍 My main goal is to tailor my work to each customer’s personality, matching their natural talents and skills. It puts the customer in a more comfortable position. The process, instead of being tiresome, offers prospects for enjoyable personal growth. The activities we perform aren’t the same tired, old routines but instead become an expression of the customer’s personality.
📍 Which is why I can lend a hand in places where good communication is needed to bring results, e.g.:
▪️ public presentations - both the technical aspects and practical guidelines - the use of pauses in speech, diction, emotions, delivery,
▪️achieving consensus and stronger bargaining position - will become easier to accomplish,
▪️ teach more effective usage of verbal and non-verbal communication,
▪️ cultivate a leader’s attitude within my customers; people are more likely to look up to you, listen to you and perceive you as a leader.

Communication Trainer

Divadlo Continuo Theatre (CZ)

📍 Divadlo Continuo Theatre is a cyclical event, taking form of summer workshops over the course of 1-1.5 months. I consider my participation in it a major personal success owing to the fact that:
▪️ I have qualified for the workshops 4 times in a row and on my 5th I was invited without needing to submit my own application.
▪️ I was recognized by the event’s organizers in my capacity as an actor and creator, as evidenced by the time I was given to perform on stage - which was relatively long with reference to the duration of the entire play. I view it as a major success, first of all because the project itself is prestigious, meaning that I had to compete with brilliant performers with high acting skills. Second of all, it was a major challenge to create a work which would match the show’s high standards and represent a certain level of sophistication while still remaining appealing to an average viewer; the director selected my work, which means I have met the aforementioned criteria.

📍 My involvement in the project included:
▪️ involvement in screenwriting,
▪️ scenography in selected non-theatrical locations,
▪️ costume/puppet design

📍 Taking advantage of my natural rapport building skills, as well as the necessity to build an extra income stream, I decided to become a network representative. Already by the second month into my partnership I became the company’s 5th most valuable recruter based on my user registration performance - having registered 120 000 new users to the company’s platform.

Business English Coach Helping Ambitious Recruitment Professionals Become More Confident

As the online content manager, my role was to manage and contribute to web content projects while acting as a Single Point of Contact for the region. I was also involved in coordinating periodic online updates and managing online enhancement projects, liaising with country representatives. This involved building requirements, reviewing them with the business, and submitting them to the development team. Throughout the development process, I worked with all stakeholders to test, approve, and sign off on changes.

Past projects included:

Rolling out and managing a contractor responsible for rebuilding our Internal Career sites
Implementing multi-language Hays Response sites
Coordinating and reporting on the deployment and testing of our new mobile site, with a focus on the LATAM region
My training responsibilities included instructing users on our Oracle content management system and providing countries with ongoing support and training in Google Analytics and Search Engine Optimization.

I continued to offer training on the internal recruitment database and supported our Latin American countries. This involved being a point of contact for consultants' training needs.

Online Content Manager, EMEA

As the IT Trainer for Hays Recruiting, my job was to ensure that new consultants across Europe and South America learned how to use our internal recruiting database effectively to manage their candidates, clients, and job placements.

This involved training via Webex and face-to-face sessions.

I provided content management and support for the CERoW Region, including testing, training, and support for European and South American websites. I was involved in the training and led the testing and management of the testing team for the Colombian, Chilean, and Belgian websites for Hays.

In late 2012, I was also involved in testing, training, and content support for the new Hays-Response country websites.

I worked closely with all required stakeholders to ensure their sites and staff were fully trained in testing their websites.

Working in a large multinational, I had the responsibility of collaborating with content managers and consultants globally. This meant ensuring that any training provided was tailored to the specific country and market that the consultants were working in, taking into account language differences and local customs.

As IT Trainer I was responsible for delivering IT ECDL courses and Personal Development, including job seeking skills, CV preparation and Interview techniques to long term unemployed.

The challenge of this work was to make sure all content was pitched to the right level and was relevant to the participants.

During my time working with these groups I came across many challenges but in learning styles, learning ability and self confidence.

This ranged from low self confidence to those who believed they should not be on the course. The demographic was very diverse
 
My job was to use effective techniques to ensure that all participants were catered for in an effective manner.

Jobfit was part of a larger program funded by the Irish government to help get long term unemployed back into the job market.  The participants had to fit certain criteria in order to join the course.  During my time I worked with long term unemployed, participants who had criminal records and also rehabilitated drug addicts. This was both challenging and personally very satisfying.

Froebel College was a small college based in South County Dublin (From Sept 2013 the college will be based in NUI Maynooth).

My responsibilities included staff and student management of IT systems, including setting up of users, troubleshooting the network and managing the email and web filtering systems.

I also was the IT trainer for  staff on Office skills, and students on the methodologies of treaching IT to primary school children.

During this time I worked with pre-service teachers ensuring that their personal IT Skills were of a high standard but also showed them how to get the best out of ICT in the classroom situation.

Whilst at Froebel I also wrote a number of academic papers.

Having undertaken teaching practice in Sallynoggin Senior College I was offered a position of IT Trainer.

Having started as an IT trainer, I saw the gap in the market for a web site design course, proposed it, wrote it and was the course director. This was one of the first Web Design courses in Ireland

In developing this course, I had to research into whether there was a market, who are target audience were and then work with existing certification providers to create the necessary framework and modules for the course.

As part of this course I also had to source and supervise work placements for the participants
