In this role, I worked with the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, local farmers, and seafood restaurateurs to plan an oyster farm on 40 acres of leased land in accordance with Virginia maritime and agricultural law. Once we were ready to begin building, I worked with the property owner, Stephen O'Keefe, to write a grant proposal and win $40,000 from the United States Department of Agriculture. 

Using said $40,000, I hired and managed a small team to create a functioning oyster reef and farm in the Mobjack bay near Jamestown, Virginia.

• Implemented and evaluated machine learning models to predict the ETA of taxi drives in NYC based on 440 million trips
• Created a data pipeline in a Python Jupyter notebook which pulled data from Google’s Bigquery, cleaned and normalized it, trained the models and visualized model performance with seaborn data visualization.
• The best model achieved an RMSE of 253s and RMSLE of 0.32
