	•	Finite engagement
	•	Clear promise for a clear price

This is what your business is known for.

For most businesses, this is around 80% of revenue.

Think: continuity
	•	Membership
	•	Mastermind
	•	Retainer
	•	Subscription

People buy once… and keep buying.

Purpose: consistency

Recurring revenue = stability.

When each offer has one primary job:

	•	Wide → creates customers
	•	Deep → creates cash
	•	Long → creates consistency

Marketing gets clearer.

Last week, I spoke to a Founder running a $700K coaching business. And he’s exhausted.

Everything looks good on the surface. 

Revenue is growing quickly, but he's managing a team of 25 coaches.

But as revenue goes up, so does acquisition cost (and so does stress). 

So this Founder:

→ Relies heavily on cold traffic
→ Needs to 'push to close' prospects on calls
→ Uses paid ads to top up the 'funnel', eating into margins

Even with great top line numbers, below the surface, he's super stressed out, because conversion takes a lot of work, time and resources (meaning profit margin is very low).

For me, it's not about how much I make, but how much I get to keep.

Revenue growth is great, profit is better.

Last year, we hit seven-figure revenue AND 70% profit margins. We did it through podcast guesting and warm partnerships.

By borrowing other people’s trusted audiences, our cost of client acquisition is basically zero. 

Which, of course, provides a lot more room for margin. And there's no ad expense to eat into our profits.

A little over 12 years ago, I felt like I was on a sinking ship.

I was VP of a $120M division, managing people older than me, and I even leapfrogged my boss and was now managing him.  Plus our division was the largest profitability contributor to the almost $1B company!  

All this to say, I got a lot of visibility from the executive team.

The stress caused me to skip the gym, skip quiet time, and miss out on family time. 

Always working or thinking about work.

I was winning at work, but losing at home.

Winning on the outside, but losing on the inside.

I knew there had to be a better way!

The devil doesn’t need to make us bad….
He just needs to keep us busy.

In Exodus 5:9, Pharaoh says, “Let heavier work be laid on the men… so they pay no regard to lying words.”

The “lying words” weren’t complaints.
They were God’s voice.

Pharaoh removed the straw needed to make bricks,
but demanded the same output.

No pause.
No margin.
Just more work.

Why?
Because busy people don’t listen well.

That strategy by the devil didn’t die in Exodus.
Satan doesn’t need to make us bad.
He just needs to keep us busy.

Busy scrolling.
Busy checking email.
Busy jumping from meeting to meeting.
Busy producing but never pausing to rest.

When life is that full, we stop hearing God.

Are you creating margin to hear God’s voice
or are you enslaved to making bricks?

Margin isn’t a time-management issue.
It’s a trust issue.

God still speaks.
We just have to slow down to listen.
