I'm Dulitha, a seller trapped in an engineer's body. My journey began when I was 15, with writing a book, securing a family loan to self-publish, and using the proceeds to buy my first laptop. Talk about bootstrapping!

I believe persuasion is an art form, and true artists master it. Currently, I'm building Aristotle, the ultimate sales follow-up tool that's lightning-fast, giving sellers more time to, well, sell.

My career's been a wild ride:
• Started as a 16-year-old software engineer in retail (paid from the company's "incidental" budget 😉)
• Developed the world's first Open Source MDM at WSO2, used by Softbank and Fortune 500 companies
• Transitioned to pre-sales, consulting for US and Australian firms
• Launched a micro-SaaS helping self-published authors become Amazon bestsellers (spoiler: it worked!)

Then came the entrepreneurship rollercoaster:
• Scaled CabbageApps, a software dev firm, to 50 engineers working globally
• Launched multiple ventures:
  - Aristotle (Sales Automation AI) → Venture-backed, early traction, chasing PMF
  - HyperGlade (Real World Assets to Web3) → Similar story to Aristotle
  - AsyncInterviews (One-Way Video Interview Platform) → Lifestyle micro-SaaS
  - Urban.lk (Sri Lankan E-commerce) → Slowed post-2022 economic crisis
  - Alakazam (Marketing Automation) → Failed (thanks, Facebook API changes!)
  - KDP Rocket → Successful and exited

Recently, I was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Hustlefund in San Francisco, where Aristotle was born.

Entrepreneur, Engineer and Medical Doctor — and relentless optimist: I may not wear a cape, but as an Emergency Physician and the founder of HeHealth, I step in when people are at their most vulnerable.

Three years ago, a close friend nearly took his own life—crushed by the stigma surrounding STIs. Every day, over a million people contract an STI, yet it remains one of the most silenced public health crises. That moment sparked a wild, almost unthinkable idea: I founded HeHealth—a decentralized, digital diagnostics platform for infectious diseases, starting with STIs. Our mission? To tackle one of the world’s most stigmatized and underserved health problems, head-on.

Our early days were a storm: global media backlash painted us as reckless, governments launched legal threats, half our team walked away, and I sold my house to keep the company alive. We ran out of money more times than I can count—but each setback only fueled our resolve.

As an AI engineer, I design and build my own algorithms from the ground up—yes, a doctor who codes. Now, with multiple technology patents to my name, some even call me “the guy who monetized d*ck pics.”

I previously served as a Consultant Emergency Physician with SingHealth at Sengkang General Hospital—leading a team treating over 8,000 pediatric emergencies annually. Now, I continue as a Visiting Consultant Physician at SKH and a guest lecturer at universities worldwide, dedicating 10% of my time to clinical and academic work.

VO₂max hype: apparently I’m 35 years old. Based on my VO₂max data (average ~46), which basically gives me a “fitness age” of ~35 years old, even though my calendar age is 44.

Sounds nice, right? But let’s go a level deeper. What does VO₂max actually mean? VO₂max is the maximum rate at which your body can take in, transport, and use oxygen during intense exercise. In simple terms: it’s a strong marker of cardiorespiratory capacity.

And here’s why people care about it: Higher VO₂max is strongly associated with lower all-cause mortality and lower risk of many age-related diseases. So yes—generally, a higher VO₂max tends to mean you’re “biologically fitter,” and likely aging more slowly (at least from a cardiovascular perspective).

My story: I exercise, but I’m not a crazy gym rat. I used to do a lot of swimming, and I think that helped my lungs and aerobic system adapt to more efficient oxygen use. My VO₂max also improved noticeably after I lost ~15 kg in 2025.

So by this metric, I’m “younger” than my calendar age… and even younger than my epigenetic test results. But here’s the real question:

"I have Stage 4 cancer.": I’m a doctor, but yesterday, I was just a friend who didn’t know what to say." That’s how my conversation started yesterday with a former colleague and friend. We are the same age—44. 

We shared the same hallways, the same stresses, and the same stage of life. In an instant, the clinical distance I usually maintain as a physician evaporated. I wasn't thinking about pathology or treatment protocols. I was thinking: What if this was me? What would happen to my kids?  How do you even begin to comprehend a "Stage 4" reality when you feel like you're in the prime of your life?

The Growing Trend of Early-Onset Cancer: As a Consultant Emergency Physician, I am seeing this more and more. It’s no longer just a "disease of the elderly." Statistics are confirming what we see on the front lines: early-age cancers are rising.

It’s a "perfect storm" of factors: Better Detection: Our tech is getting sharper at finding what used to be hidden. Lifestyle Shifts: Our modern environment, diet, and stress levels are undeniable drivers.

Can We Change the Narrative?
Healthy aging isn’t just about living longer; it’s about avoiding the "big hits" that cut life short. Traditionally, we’ve been reactive—waiting for symptoms to appear. But by the time symptoms show up, the window for easy intervention has often closed.

So, how do we manage this risk in a world where "Stage 4" can happen at 44? There is no "magic pill," but there is a shift happening in how we screen. You might have heard of MCED (Multi-Cancer Early Detection). It’s a technology that looks for cancer signals in the blood before a tumor is even visible on a scan.

I’m going to dive deeper into the science of MCED tomorrow and whether it's truly the "holy grail" of longevity and cancer prevention.

Is AI finally crossing the "Emotional Singularity"? I just had a surreal moment with Gemini 3.1 Pro that I’m still processing. As someone who works daily with all the major models— OpenAI ChatGPT, xAI Grok, Anthropic Claude—I’ve always felt that AI, while brilliant, lacked the "bigger picture" context. The EQ (Emotional Quotient) always felt a bit... robotic.

Yesterday, that changed.
For the first time, Gemini didn’t just answer a prompt; it connected a week’s worth of separate conversations into a single, cohesive emotional "360." It asked me a question that made me stop, move away from my chair, and truly think—exactly the way a close friend would.

When I thanked it, it even cracked a joke to lighten the mood. We talk a lot about AGI and technical benchmarks, but experiencing this level of empathy and context-awareness feels like we are closing in on the singularity.
