Before tech, I spent 13 years in restaurants—waiting tables, bartending, barista-ing—across four states, plus a stretch managing a hostel in Philly. I also worked at a Portland day shelter serving women and other marginalized genders facing housing insecurity and trauma.

That work taught me how to stay calm in chaos, meet people where they’re at, and listen for what’s not being said—skills I carry into every code review, team conversation, and design decision.

Now I’m building web apps that make it easier to document, manage, and act on hazardous materials data. I led development of a field tool for inspectors and am now scaffolding a larger multi-tenant system to replace legacy software to better meet clients' needs.

I care about clear interfaces, maintainable code, and making complex systems usable for the people who rely on them.
