Monday, I posted a content about the event Jasmin Alić hosted last week.

I just highlighted the main pointers of the event and tagged Jasmin and LinkedIn.

I never expected that it would be the best performing post for me in the past 1 year.

I got around:

→ 9,000+ impressions on LinkedIn
→ 100+ profile views
→ 80+ followers
→ 170+ likes and 90+ comments

Why did it work?

1) I catered to the pain point of the audience (i.e. reach on LinkedIn)
2) I provided the solution and gave credit to Jasmin Alic's event
3) I tagged LinkedIn and Jasmin Alic which built some authority for the post
4) I kept the content short and to the point

If your content is not working, try adding these pointers according to your content.

And be bullish in commenting and be active for the 1st hour before and after posting.

Simple, authentic, and valuable is what you need in your content to go viral on LinkedIn.

A prospect told me this last week.

And honestly? I see why they believe it.

Most people start strong on LinkedIn. Post consistently for 6 months. Get decent engagement. Feel like they're building something.

Then it slowly dies.

Engagement drops. Impressions fall. Post quality gets worse. Consistency breaks.

And eventually, they just stop posting.

But here's what they're missing:

Staying relevant isn't about luck. It's about evolution.

LinkedIn in 2024 is different from LinkedIn in 2025. And 2026 is different from both.

What worked a year ago doesn't work today. If you're posting the same way you did 12 months ago, you're already behind.

My own experience:

A year ago, I was getting 100+ engagement on most of my posts.

Then things started dropping. Fewer likes. Fewer comments. Fewer profile views.

I could have blamed the algorithm. I could have said "LinkedIn doesn't work 
anymore."

But instead, I changed my strategy.

I gained 92 followers from a single post on LinkedIn this week.

Here's the breakdown:

LinkedIn promotes the content which talks about catering to the pain points of the users.

Recently there is a huge buzz on LinkedIn about the decline of organic impressions.

And many profiles nowadays have started promoting their content to get the impressions.

But it's not sustainable for the long term, so the only way that is cost effective and sustainable is getting organic impressions.

Since the LinkedIn algorithm is not getting you the impressions, I provided a simple solution to this in my post on Monday.

It was the best performing post in the past 1 year.

You need to follow this same strategy for yourself:

1) Find the biggest pain point that your audience is facing in your niche.
2) Get the solution that is applicable.
3) Share it with them.

I am doing the same and getting the LinkedIn algorithm to work in favor of my posts.

She cried when I told her I'd work for free next month.

Here's what happened.

I've been working with her for 10 months.

She's been amazing. Referred quality clients to me. Taught me a lot about running my business.

Last week, she messaged me.

Her finances had hit rock bottom due to some unexpected situations. She needed to cut all expenses. That included my services.

I could hear the stress in her voice. She apologized multiple times. Said she hoped we could work together again once things improved.

I made a decision on the spot: "Don't worry about it. I'll work with you next month for free."

Silence on the other end.
Then I heard her cry 🥹 

I froze. I'd never experienced this before. Didn't know what to say. Just sat there quietly.

After a moment, she smiled through her tears and said, "Thank you. This means a lot to me."

Why I did it:
She helped me when I needed it. Referred great clients. Supported my work.
Now she needed support. And I could give it.

It wasn't about the money. It was about showing up for someone who showed up for me.

What this taught me:
Business isn't just about transactions. It's about people.

She told me later that this simple gesture gave her confidence to fix her finances. Knowing someone believed in her enough to stay, even without payment, changed everything for her.

Here's the truth:
We all fail. We all rise. We all grow.

And if we can be part of someone's journey, help them win when they're struggling, that's the best feeling ever.

It's not always about money. Sometimes you just need to understand the person's situation. Because at the end, we're all humans trying to make it work.

This was a moment I'll never forget.

1) Provide a pin comment

2) Be more transparent about the algorithm , it keeps changing without any prior update or notice.

3) Provide a story feature where we can add important things about work & life which are not meant to be posted.

4) Provide genuine project requests on the Service page.

5) Organic reach should be prioritised.

These are some few pointers that LinkedIn should fix in 2026.

I viewed more than 50 profiles this week of coaches.

All of them are making this same mistake on LinkedIn.

A good profile is not enough to attract high-quality leads.

You need to have:
→ Good presence 
→ Create valuable content for your clients 
→ You need to work on adding a good offer on your banner and headline 
→ You need to have a signature program which you can promote on LinkedIn 
→ You need to optimize your service page on LinkedIn

Most important: You need to connect with your ICP to sell to them or get them in the loop.

To get these done, you need to have a system and strategy that you can rely on.

And when you are sorted with it, then LinkedIn will be your platform for getting leads and clients for your work.

So if you are not using your LinkedIn, then you are missing a lot of good opportunities.

"If you are not ready to lose money, forget about making money."

This is the truth nobody tells you before you start.

In my first year of business, I lost more money than I made.

Paid for tools I didn't need. Hired people who didn't work out. Invested in strategies that went nowhere.

People asked: "Why don't you just get a job?"

But here's what they didn't understand:

- That "lost" money wasn't lost. It was tuition.

- I was paying to learn what works and what doesn't.

You can't learn that in a course. You only learn it by trying, failing, and adjusting.

The difference between employees and entrepreneurs:

Employees get paid to learn. Entrepreneurs pay to learn.

Every "failed" investment taught me: → Which clients to avoid → Which services to drop → Which strategies actually work

Here's the uncomfortable truth:

If you're not willing to risk money, you're not ready to build a business.

Growth requires investment. And sometimes, that investment doesn't pay off immediately.

Most people quit before they see the return.

They lose money once and decide "this isn't working."

But entrepreneurship is paying tuition upfront and collecting dividends later.

Every successful business you see today lost money in the beginning.

They just didn't quit when the losses showed up.

They treated it as the cost of building something real.

So if you're losing money right now, ask yourself:

Am I being reckless? Or am I learning what works?

If it's the second one, keep going. That's not loss. That's investment.

The LinkedIn algorithm changed in 2026.

Everyone panicked. I didn't.

I've seen this pattern repeat over and over.

Algorithm changes. "Gurus" start posting: "You need to change your entire strategy NOW!"

Everyone scrambles. Switches formats. Copies what's trending. Abandons 

what was working.

And 6 months later, they're back to 0 engagement wondering what went wrong.

Here's what they're missing:

Chasing the algorithm means you're always reacting. Never building.

You're not creating a brand. You're just following trends.

The questions nobody asks:

What about your goals?

What about your target audience?

What about your niche?

If you change your strategy every time the algorithm shifts, you lose the one thing that actually matters: consistency.

Your audience doesn't follow you because you game the algorithm. They follow you because they know what to expect from you.

My approach:

I built my content strategy 6 months ago. And I'm still using it.

The algorithm changed. I didn't panic.

I asked myself: "Does this algorithm change affect my core strategy?"

Sometimes the answer is yes. Then I adjust one thing.

Most times the answer is no. Then I keep going.

The results?

Still getting consistent engagement. Still growing. Still attracting the right clients.

Not because I'm hacking the algorithm. Because I'm staying true to my 
strategy.

Here's the truth:

You can adapt to what's working on LinkedIn. That's smart.

But changing your entire strategy every time someone says "the algorithm is different now"? That's how you lose your brand.

Next time someone tells you to change everything:

Ask yourself: "Is this change relevant to my goals and my audience?"

If yes, adjust.

If no, keep going.

Building a brand people follow takes consistency. Not constant pivoting.

The algorithm will keep changing. Your strategy shouldn't have to.

Here's why:

If you are a coach or a business owner, it's always good to have a website.

But if you don't have traffic, then it's of no use.

A website must be a way for you to get your prospects to book a call or check your work (if you are not doing SEO).

To drive traffic to your website, the best platform is LinkedIn.

It gets you visibility, engagement, and quality network.

So before you do SEO or polish your website, focus on building your 
LinkedIn profile.

Get started with content, add quality comments, reach out to your target audience, and build a good community of people.

Have you noticed this recent trend on LinkedIn?

For the past 2 months, I see a lot of content that is promoted.

And this is why the organic reach is very low on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn wants to push profiles and creators to promote their content for better reach and engagement.

But my concern: Many of them can't afford to promote their content. 
What about them?

And suppose they do. They can't keep promoting all of their content. 
It's not sustainable at all.

The only way to grow and sustain on LinkedIn is building real connections with profiles.

Here's how you can do it:

1) Add comments on their posts. I mean genuine comments.
2) Post quality content and make sure your content is authentic.
3) Start conversations with your peers and target audience in the DM.


These pointers done consistently for over 90 days, you then see the results.

Always think for the long term and focus on building your brand organically.

A Japanese company hired 11 office cats to reduce stress at work.

Employees say it actually worked.

This is Qnote Inc., a Tokyo-based tech firm that tried something unusual.

They didn't hire wellness consultants or build meditation rooms.

They hired 11 cats as permanent "furry employees."

What happened:
The cats roam freely around the office. Sleep on desks. Interrupt meetings.
And according to employees, stress levels dropped significantly.

What changed:
Stress reduced. Having a cat nearby calms nerves during intense work.

Communication improved. Cats became conversation starters between coworkers.

Atmosphere shifted. The office feels less corporate, more human.

The science behind it:

This isn't just about cute animals.

Studies show interacting with pets triggers: → Oxytocin (bonding hormone) → Serotonin (mood regulator)

Both linked to stress reduction and happiness.

Even just having animals present lowers cortisol levels (stress hormone).

Why companies are paying attention:

This isn't just one company. It's a growing trend in Japan and beyond.

Companies with office pets report: → Better employee retention → Easier recruitment → Improved team communication → More positive culture

For Qnote, the cats became their identity. Something that makes them different.

The lesson:

Sometimes the best solutions aren't in corporate handbooks.

Qnote didn't invest in expensive programs. They brought in 11 cats. And it worked.

Small, human touches matter more than elaborate wellness initiatives.

The best way to improve culture isn't always adding more policies. 

Sometimes it's just adding more humanity.

P.S. Would you be more productive or less productive with office cats around?

Nothing can destroy iron except its own rust.

In the same way, no one can destroy you except your own mindset.

Most people don't fail because they lack talent, resources, or opportunity.

They fail because doubt, fear, and negative thinking slowly eat away from within.

Here's the truth:

- External pressure doesn't break you. Self-doubt does.
- Rejections don't stop you. Your reaction to them does.
- Competition doesn't defeat you. Your belief that you're not good enough does.

What actually destroys progress:

- Comparing yourself until you feel inadequate.
- Overthinking until you take no action.
- Waiting for perfect conditions that never come.

Listening to "you're not enough" more than "keep going."

I've seen this in my own journey:
Clients ghosted. Prospects rejected. Months with no income.
None of that broke me.

What almost broke me was the voice that said "maybe you're not cut out for this."

The moment I stopped listening to that voice, everything changed.

Protect your mindset like your greatest asset.

Because once it weakens, everything else follows.

Your growth starts the moment you stop fighting the world and start fixing 
what's inside.

Iron doesn't rust because it's weak. It rusts because it's exposed without protection.

You're not failing because you're incapable. You're struggling because you're 
letting negative thoughts corrode your confidence.

The good news? Rust can be cleaned. Mindset can be rebuilt.

But first, you have to recognize it's happening.

Your biggest enemy isn't out there. It's in here.

Don't purchase a LinkedIn Premium plan if you don't want to connect with your prospects.

LinkedIn without Premium means you can only post and comment.

You can't connect or send a note to your prospects.

But if your goal is to grow and connect, then LinkedIn Premium is for you.

You might think paying a hefty amount every month for a premium plan is not worth it.

But from my experience, if you are a beginner or want to get clients from LinkedIn, then you must purchase a premium plan.

But now the question arrives: Which premium plan to choose?

If you just want to connect with your prospects, then you can either choose a Career plan or Business Premium plan.

If you want to scrape quality profiles of your prospects, then Sales Navigator is the best.

Here's how you can do it:

Getting more visibility or clicks on your website depends upon the traffic you generate either through SEO, ads, or through social media.

Directing them to visit your website and the main motive is to get them to book a call.

But what if you can skip this process and directly direct them to your 

Calendly link to book a call using LinkedIn?

Get traffic. Get them to engage with your posts and make them book a call.

All through LinkedIn. But before you get to this point, you need to make your LinkedIn a landing page. You need to build some good authority. 

You need to attract the right set of audience.

The starting point of all these is to get more impressions and engagement on your posts.

And to do that, you need to create valuable content and add quality comments on other creators' posts.

Do this consistently, start a conversation in the DM, build some trust, and then make them book a call.
