As an English Instructor at PagodaOne in Seoul, I played a pivotal role in elevating the English communication skills of professionals across diverse industries. Catering to a spectrum of students, from entry-level to top-tier executives, I worked with professionals from esteemed organizations such as Pfizer, PTC Korea, APEX Korea, Kahi Cosmetics, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, and lululemon.

My primary responsibilities involved developing, adapting, and implementing customized curricula tailored to the specific needs and preferences of individual students. Additionally, I led the preparation and coaching for high-stakes English interactions, including negotiations, client presentations, scholarship applications, Ph.D. candidacies, and research findings.

1:1 Adult English Teacher 

Gyeonggi Future Education Campus - Provincial Institute for Lifelong Learning (GILL)

In my role as a Foreign Language Teacher at Gyeonggi Future Education Campus (GILL) in Paju, South Korea, I dedicated myself to imparting English as a foreign language to a diverse student body, spanning kindergarteners to high school students. GILL, as a government-funded educational institute, provided practical English learning opportunities for the citizens of Gyeonggi province.

Key contributions: 

•	Developed a new curriculum independently and collaboratively with the administration, adapting it for an online platform to ensure continuity in education.

•	Created engaging content for GILL’s YouTube channel, contributing to the institution's digital presence and providing additional learning resources.

•	Co-founded and formalized the Welcoming & Well-being committee, collaborating with colleagues to organize team-building activities, social events, and manage the orientation process for new hires.

This experience not only allowed me to contribute to the linguistic development of students but also provided a platform to demonstrate leadership and innovation in curriculum development and organizational initiatives.

Conducted legal research and updated legal documents and agreements in order to align with legislative changes. 

•	Drafted correspondence between the NGO and its collaborators and partners for new social projects. 

•	Drafted, reviewed, negotiated and updated memorandums of understanding, non-disclosure agreements, non-compete agreements, royalty agreements, licensing agreements, distribution agreements, service level agreements and fee letters (including terms and conditions) for chargeable service providers. 

•	The subject matter of the abovementioned memorandums and other documents were mostly intellectual property, privacy and data related issues, work division and publicity. 

•	Drafted various policies, user guides and bespoke agreements primarily dealing with intellectual property, privacy and personal data related issues.

In my role as a Legal Coordinator at JHI Excellerate, I managed three property management portfolios independently. Additionally, I provided essential support to a senior legal advisor handling one of the company's biggest portfolios. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivered day-to-day legal assistance to landlord offices and portfolio business units. Drafted a spectrum of legal documents, including letters of demand, breach letters, consents to rescind judgment, legal opinions, settlements, lease agreements, service level agreements, addendums, amendments to agreements, and acknowledgments of debt.

• Assisted in mediating between landlords and tenants, fostering effective communication and resolution.

• Played a key role in meeting preparations, including agenda creation and minute-taking during landlord meetings.

• Conducted comprehensive studies of relevant case law and legislation, developing training material and guides for other departments and units.

• Compiled legal progress reports on ongoing matters for upper management and landlords' offices.

• Formalized and conducted legal training for business units within assigned portfolios.

• Represented clients daily in magistrates' court proceedings, actively participating in debt review matters by moving for orders, managing postponements, and efficiently withdrawing cases when required.

• Conducted in-depth studies of relevant case law and legislation related to debt restructuring, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of legal developments. Regularly communicated insights to the head office and the broader legal team.

• Assessed files and scrutinized supporting documents to guarantee compliance with court directives and legislative requirements, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

• Managed miscellaneous tasks, including reporting to the head office on the status of matters, updating file reports and daily legal reports, and overseeing the filing and archiving process.

This experience has equipped me with a robust foundation in debt restructuring matters and a nuanced understanding of the National Credit Act. It reflects my commitment to legal excellence, active participation in legal proceedings, attention to compliance details, and efficient management of administrative tasks.

In my role as a Candidate Attorney at Herman Esterhuizen Smalman Attorneys, I immersed myself in the intricate world of insolvency law.

Key Responsibilities:

• Orchestrated the management and coordination of debt review matters, serving as the primary point of contact with the debt counsellor's office.
