PLC programmer for industrial breweries using STL language. Typical project includes designing and drawing HMI’s from P&ID schematics, writing, testing and troubleshooting PLC code according to a process description and finally commissioning the code on site. These responsibilities are carried out within an international team of software, mechanical, electrical and brewing engineers to meet strict deadlines in fast-paced, high pressure environments. Commissioning requires travelling internationally for up to three months at a time.

Designed and built a model smart city to simulate the implementation of IoT in a city. Utilised Carriots IoT platform, microprocessors, WiFi modules and various sensors.
Required coding in C++, Groovy and utilising HTTP and MQTT protocols for IoT communication.
