LegalFundi was born in ensuring access to social justice. 

By bridging the gap between technology and law, LegalFundi has positioned itself effectively as a front runner in the disruption of the legal industry. BETA testing has already been completed with 98% of respondents believing they could trust the tool, 100% saying they would recommend it for a family or friend and 99% stating that it would not only help them perform their role better but also more efficiently.

The COO position has taken on a solution development as well as business development function and has required me to project manage the technical solution ideation, design and development whilst ensuring early market access, user-testing operations and community access ad inclusion.

Clara Technologies

Clara is a subscription-based legal operating system that provides an integrated collection of self-
service tools to help founders digitally form, manage and scale their startups. The Clara platform educates and empowers founders to address many of the tasks currently performed by lawyers,
including incorporating companies, drafting agreements, building cap tables and structuring data
rooms. At the same time, Clara acts as a collaboration and information sharing tool for founders,
investors and lawyers so that the key players in the global startup ecosystem can work together more
efficiently.

The driving purpose of Clara is to help founders change the world by making legals fundamentally
more efficient, catalysing the shift from a lawyer-led to a founder-led user experience to demystify
complex legal processes and empower founders with our knowledge.

As a law entrepreneur and venture builder, I am passionate about harnessing the power of technology and innovation to create social impact and empower people and businesses with access to affordable and efficient legal services and solutions. I have co-founded and led two LawTech companies, Lacoona Legal and LegalFundi, that leverage artificial intelligence and automation to deliver customised and scalable legal processes, document drafting, and employee management, all through SaaS mechanisms and web-based portals. 

With a strong academic background in commercial law, labour law, and alternative dispute resolution, as well as a post graduate diploma in business administration and social entrepreneurship, I have developed and applied my skills in human capital management, labour relations, startup management, and teamwork to grow and scale both Lacoona Legal and LegalFundi, achieving multiple milestones, such as completing BETA testing with 98% positive feedback, securing a large contract with a leading financial institution, and being selected as a finalist for the Africa Legal Innovation Awards. I am also an aspiring YAC VC Fellow at Young African Catalysts, a digital university that empowers talent to enter and build the African startup and venture ecosystem.
