✨ I decided to get into my best shape  🙌 
✨ I promised to take myself on fun solo trips 🤗 
✨ I said I’d finally STOP chasing after anyone OR thing ❤️‍🩹 

BUT in 2025…
❌ I ate ALL my feels & got sick 🤢 
❌ I cried a LOT on EVERY solo trip 💔 
❌ I chased SO hard that I tripped & fell even harder 🤦🏻‍♀️ 
  
So WHY am I sharing this on here? 🤔 

Because it’s THAT time of the year 

When Linkylanders start raving

About all their success

& how GREAT their life is. 🙌 

👏And that’s great for them!👏 

We LOVE to celebrate others! 🎉

But DON’T feel bad if YOURS isn’t. 

Don’t feel sad if YOU got LESSONS.

🌸 It’s OK to take a minute to breathe! 

🌼 It’s OK to take an ENTIRE year 

To completely RESET, grow,

And EVOLVE. 🌺

In Brighton, I ran a successful, fully booked 1-1 teaching business before I left to move back to Newcastle.  Although I loved my students, I was craving a new challenge and the move back to Newcastle was the perfect time to make this happen. 

Achievements included: 

• Planned and hosted regular performance events and studio sessions. 

• Taught students from around the world.

• Helped turn students into professional, paid singers.

• My students performed at the Brighton Christmas Lights in 2016, appearing in newspapers and on the radio. 

• 100% pass rate in helping my students with their accredited vocal grades (Trinity & Rockschool)

I took over as Director when the two Founding Directors left to pursue other endeavours. I worked alongside Franchise consultants and solicitors and developed three Pilot Franchise schools in Brighton, Kent and York.

My goal was to build a successful turn-key business and then sell the company to focus on my own teaching business.

Although the Pilots worked well, the Vocademy brand itself is now running solely in Kent although there may be plans for the new Director to continue with the Franchise venture in the future.

Achievements: 

- Creation and development of three successful Pilot Franchise schools
- Finalist in New Franchisor of the Year 2016 EWIF Awards

Director

I managed a network of seven singing schools across the South of England, containing around 250 students. I worked closely with the Directors, helping train up staff as well as all of the administrative duties and some tutoring.

• Teaching group lessons (up to 15 students at a time ages between 7-18) and 1-1 lessons of any age and ability  

• Designing the brand, image and visual impact of Vocademy – Working with graphic designers on logos and branding.

• Responding to customers: answering emails and the phone, being first point of contact within the business.

• Responsible for establishing and building business relationships, to help expand the business and build awareness.

• Design and development of the brand, growth and the direction of the business, in order to implement the expansion of 7 vocal schools across the UK.

• Sourcing and recruiting permanent vocal teachers, including implementing initial and ongoing training. Acting as the ongoing support for tutors for the day-to-day operations, to ensure the business was represented professionally.

• Managing the office – training and overseeing office staff to ensure enquiries, bookings and ongoing student concerns are dealt with appropriately, delivering a consistent and positive experience for all customers and students involved.

• Planning and hosting quarterly performance events for the students, as well as arranging local showcasing events and taking part in local marketing event days.

• Maintaining company policy and procedures - arranging all health and safety, organizing appropriate public liability insurance and completing risk assessments.

For years, I struggled with feeling “not enough.” Shame around herp3s, addictions, and my past as an ex-s3x worker kept me hiding behind masks, chasing achievements, and constantly feeling disconnected from myself and my purpose. 

With over 10 years of coaching experience and trained in Rapid Transformational Therapy, I’ve done the deep work to heal, slay my shame, and own every messy, brilliant part of who I am (yes, even the herpes!) and now, I guide other women to do the same.
