Asif is the Chief Global Inclusion Officer  for Warner Bros. Discovery, he was previously the Global Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Social Impact at adidas and has a long and rich career in the diversity and inclusion space with senior executive roles at The Telegraph Media Group, EY Financial Services and the City of London Police. He is a board member for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a member of the board of advisors for Hedley May. Over his 20-year career he has worked in Europe, North America, Middle East, Africa and Asia.  
  
Asif has been credited with impactful global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion activities and programs across organizations, that have created a strong sense of belonging for all and resulted in truly diverse workplaces. Contingent Workforce Manager accountable for delivery of TfL's Managed Service Provider (MSP) for contingent labour across TfL and driving adoption across the GLA Group including large teams in IT and engineering to support London Underground projects. Recently, focus on MSP, Furlough and Covid return.

Themes: manage HR team of 11 Recruitment Business Partners, £830m tender drafting and specification, evaluation, implementation and delivery; developing in-house contract support team; Agency Workers Regulations; IR35; workforce conduct, employment tribunals and employee relations, legal counsel liaison; fostering partnership working with MSP to achieve delivery against KPI's and strategic plan. . My focus has been on improving stakeholder engagement and a high quality service for managers.

Led the vision, drafting, selection and implementation of the UK’s largest tender during 2018-2021, awarding to Reed as MSP in April 2021 to increase quality of CV and delivery and save £24m over 4 years. This has included technical project management of the new Vendor Management System (VMS), extensive planning, stakeholder and supplier management.

Pioneered IR35 tax implementation for independent contractors at TfL giving presentations to banking and pharmaceutical sectors, public bodies and SIA industry conferences. Received industry 'Game Changer' recognition 2019.

Accountable for day to day operational delivery of contingent labour talent acquisition across disciplines at TfL, MSP performance and MSP onsite team. 

I led on the Mayor of London’s first HR collaborative project (contingent labour) and brought together contingent labour managers from City Hall, London Fire Brigade and Metropolitan Police to adopt one MSP programme to deliver for London. I believe in fostering confidence and trust.

Contingent Workforce: Line manager of 9 Recruitment Consultants and Coordinators, setting objectives, managing performance. Responsible for agency account management maintaining effective relationships with HR Business Partners (HRBP), senior management and line managers across TfL. Acted as deputy Recruitment Manager for Contingent Labour and assisted in the delivery of the first generation Master Vendor (Hays) contract. 

Permanent Recruitment: Line manager of 8 Recruitment Consultants and Coordinators delivering the majority of recruitment below £70k at TfL. Management of RPO for volume recruitment, DBS checks, legal and commercial decisions and contingent labour.

Managed a cultural change away from ‘close monitoring’ and ‘process’ to one of customer experience, responsiveness and personal accountability through empowerment, developing trust and up-skilling Consultants and Coordinators.  Project managed Taleo ATS major system design and enhancement.

Supervised new in-house recruitment team after acquisition of Metronet Rail by TfL.
