As part of a dedicated team of volunteer photographers, I had the honor of creating cherished family portraits for Army service members and their families during the holiday seasons of 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022. From the moment they join, through every assignment and deployment, and as they transition back to civilian life, the USO is steadfastly by their side. Being part of this tradition of service and support has been incredibly rewarding.

Our holiday portrait sessions at Ft. Hood were more than just photography gigs; they were opportunities to give back to those who sacrifice so much for our country. Last week, I was running the live press-pool feed for the national media on behalf of Fox News.

This wasn't breaking news.
It was a planned cabinet-level press junket out in the middle of nowhere.

So the job was all logistics.

Government schedules.
Handlers moving the press pool from one spot to another.
Tight windows.
Constant repositioning.

And one thing was non-negotiable:

The signal back to New York had to be clean.
Images had to be spot-on.
Audio, rock solid.

All while staying mobile with a traveling pool of about 30 national press members, never missing a beat.

That's the part most people never see.

This work isn't about showing up with a camera.

As a J. Hilburn Wardrobe Stylist, I help men save time and money when it comes to building their professional, social, casual and formal wardrobes. To make the shopping experience more convenient for the client, I can work with each client virtually or in person at his home, office or at my showroom in Houston. I plan, coordinate, and maintain my clients' wardrobes so they are perfectly attired for any situation. As a professional wardrobe consultant, I am well versed in fabrics, colors, style and patterns. It is my goal to assist my clients by selecting a wardrobe that will compliment them. 

I train and mentor other individuals to also become a J. Hilburn Wardrobe Stylists. With my experience, I help individuals see their potential as a stylist, teach them how to own your own business from home, with an unlimited earning potential.
