Completed leading the change management process during a change of ownership, trained the new Schools Programme Manager, helped the new Director and co-owner settle into the company, advised the new leadership team, recruited and set training plans for new members of the Schools Programme Team.

Led the delivery and strategy of a third of the business. Goodtime Music Academy is a social enterprise that teaches tens of thousands via several online programmes and over 1,500 students per week in person. 1,100+ of those students are in the Schools Programme in 30+ schools around Wellington.

• leading a team of 15 music teachers to fulfil our company's vision
• teacher training, including developing an online LMS for staff, ongoing coaching

Antarctic Research Centre, Victoria University of Wellington

Supported amazing scientists and their postgrad students while they carry out fascinating research in relation to Antarctica and New Zealand, the Southern Ocean, and climate change. 

This involved:
• financial administration such as invoicing, raising POs, Pcard expense coding, journaling, monitoring grant spending against budgets, expense claims
• event planning and management for the annual prestigious S.T. Lee lecture and other events
• website editing and general administration, including HR administration

Te Kōkī - New Zealand School of Music

Co-ordinated all aspects of the School's main pre-tertiary programme:
• Led 20+ fixed term and casual staff per year to teach and administer the NZSM Young Musicians' Programme
• Financial responsibilities included full programme budgeting, reporting on programme income and spending, all invoicing and chasing up of outstanding debtors, seeking additional programme funding
• Administrative responsibilities included planning and managing events,
maintaining payroll records, communicating all HR, health and safety, insurance and asset policies, complete programme timetabling, work rostering, library sourcing 
• Communicative tasks included managing all customer communication, leading all team communication for a team that is based out-of-office, managing change effectively and efficiently, fostering community spirit for both staff and students, communicating with School's networks to recruit, maintaining good relationships with programme sponsors, surveying customers and staff, maintaining the programme and School's Facebook pages, designing minor programme advertising, designing and updating regular forms, advising on webpage updates and major advertising, writing press releases

Young Musicians Programme Co-ordinator

EPIK (English Program in Korea)

• Proven intercultural skills being the only foreigner working at this Korean school with five Korean co-teachers in a low socio-economic suburb
• Excellent interpersonal skills, created a friendly environment that encouraged learning and communication, communicated effectively across culture and language barriers on a daily basis
• Class size varied between 12 and 37 teenage girls, aged between 12 – 15 years old (mainly with a Korean co-teacher)
• Designed and ran one-on-one speaking tests to evaluate students' progress
• Designed a marking sheet for speaking tests that was thereafter used at other schools in Busan
• Judged Speaking Proficiency Tests for the Haeundae Office of Education in the wider district
• Gave a lecture and ran workshops on lesson planning at EPIK New Teachers' Training Orientation, Summer intake 2009
• Supplemented materials from the Middle School English books, creating activities to maximise students' speaking skills. Didn’t have to run classes solely to the book in most classes
• Designed and ran Summer and Winter camps, After School Club and lunch time themed conversation classes
