Risk Advisor- Commercial Risk Management

Manage insurance renewals and design for Workers’ Comp, General Liability, Auto Liability, Property, Dealer’s Open Lot, Cyber Liability, D&O, E&O, EPL and K&R policies. 

Oversee the corporate budget for insurance policies of all P&C and Executive Risk coverage lines, claims and self-insured risks with operations in 30+ states.

Launched and manage the organization’s single parent captive in Utah.

State Farm ®

Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the organization's licensing operations, processes, and systems.

Partner with the Department of Insurance offices around the country to evaluate licensing needs and reciprocity for State Farm’s 50,000+ employees.

Remain familiar and educated with industry trends, regulatory changes and best practices for in-house and external adjuster and producer licensing needs.

Prepare reports and presentations for department executives and senior management.

Risk Management Analyst- Licensing Operations

Partner with Executive Leadership, Process Analysts and Project managers to deploy State Farm’s new management and leadership fundamentals for organizational success.

Traveled to multiple legacy State Farm offices and field territories to conduct side by side, 1x1 and leadership meeting observations.

Provided verbal and written reports to illustrate feedback on the execution of the new leadership processes, tools, data, and tools to management and executive leadership.

Process Deployment Coach- Corporate Strategy

Manage a team of auto claims adjusters to ensure claims are handled in a timely and efficient manner.

Analyze and review claims to determine coverage and liability and negotiate settlements with claimants and insureds.

Monitor claim processing to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.

Develop and implement strategies to improve claims handling processes, increase productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Auto Claims Team Manager

Investigated and evaluated auto insurance claims, including liability and coverage determination, property damage assessment, bodily injury evaluations and total loss settlements.

Negotiated settlements with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and other insurance companies to effectively resolve claims.

Contributed to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

Auto Claim Representative- Complex/Total Loss

RISE Housing and Support Services

Provided assessment of needs and implemented necessary actions for individuals being seen at the Saratoga County Mental Health Clinic. Counsel individuals with matters including, but not limited Social Security benefits, Medicaid/Medicare procedures, and housing options. Held a chair in the TSA Grants Committee Board as well as the Saratoga County Rental Assistance Program Advisory Committee.

Case Manager

At Gibson, we assist business leaders to identify, quantify and bring clarity around strategic, business, and hazard risk exposures. Through this analysis, Gibson provides clients with the trust and advocacy to make the best decisions when evaluating their insurance and risk management needs.
