Career highlights:

Revamped a media relations and content marketing strategy for Redzone. Secured 44 media hits in 10 months, contributing to 23% sales lead growth. Applied a content cascading approach that allowed the company to reduce the content marketing budget by 35% while almost doubling the organic website traffic.  

Built and executed a high-impact strategic communications plan for TrueCommerce. Analyzed TrueCommerce situation and realized that its platform, while profitable, is an amalgamation of boring legacy solutions that cannot excite the media. Solved the problem in two weeks by persuading the leadership to capitalize on the human, and emotional factors of the software selection, adoption, and implementation and building a comprehensive communications plan. Created a library of detailed customer stories with a tinge of drama resulting in explosive coverage growth - over 250 stories in four years and 11% sales leads growth annually.

Developed a strategic analyst relations program. TrueCommerce had its obvious niche with a large addressable market. However, key research firms (Gartner and IDC) retired their market category. Worked with key analysts and the company’s Chief Evangelist to build trust and persuade the analyst community to create a new category where the company was placed as a Leader. This was instrumental for two equity events exceeding $600 million.

Developed a network of international marketing and distribution partnerships for IceWarp. The project, completed in three months, resulted in a 600% global media coverage surge and explosive sales channel growth.

If an Analyst Relations team joins the conversation after launch, the organization is most likely six months late—and the much-watched pipeline is already paying for it. 📉

I’m closely following the Analyst Relations Summit (hosted by the Product Marketing Alliance) this week, and the "vibe shift" for 2026 is undeniable. AR is officially moving out of the PR silo and into the heart of Product Marketing (PMM) and GTM strategy.

For leadership teams, this isn't just a structural change—it’s a survival tactic.
Forrester recently predicted that in 2026, "AI will trade its tiara for a hard hat." The implication? Buyers have stopped listening to visionary roadmaps. They are demanding proof.

If you aren't using AR as a GTM Intelligence Unit, you are essentially using a Ferrari to pick up groceries. Without analyst-led intelligence, you are paying a "Trust Tax" on every deal:

Longer Sales Cycles: Because your reps have to build credibility from scratch.
Deeper Discounts: Because you lack third-party "proof of value."
Wasted R&D: Because you built a "cool" feature that the market’s primary influencers have already labeled a commodity.

The Real-World Stakes: I recently saw a vendor spend 8 months on an "Agentic AI" feature set, only to have a lead analyst tell them during the final briefing: "The market moved away from this architecture last quarter." If that analyst had been in the room during the Alpha phase, that company would have saved $2M in engineering hours and 6 months of GTM lag.

3 Suggestions to Operationalize "Intelligence-Led GTM" Today:

The "Kill Switch" Briefing: Before moving a major feature from Beta to GA, have your AR lead conduct a "Red Team" session with a friendly analyst. Ask: "Why will our competitors win against this?"

Move AR into the CRM: Stop measuring "briefing counts." Start tagging analysts in your "Closed/Lost" data. If a specific firm is consistently mentioned in lost deals, your AR strategy is a revenue problem, not a PR problem.

The Friday Insight Loop: Replace the monthly report. Every Friday, an AR lead should send a 3-bullet "Field Intelligence" note to the CPO and CMO on competitor roadmaps and buyer friction.

The Bottom Line: As buyers rely more on external validators to cut through the AI noise, your AR lead should be challenging your Chief Product Officer’s assumptions weekly. If they aren't, you don't have an AR program—you have a clipping service.
