A new product from the team at Formisimo.

Nudgr uses machine learning to model the behaviour of visitors and can predict whether or not they will abandon their shopping carts. If it looks like they're going to leave without checking out, a popup including a discount or incentive, or a 3rd party widget such as live chat, is fired, encouraging the user to continue their path to revenue.

Our aim is to provide only supplemental revenue to retailers without impacting sales that would've already gone through.

I love this ad. There’s really been some A* B2B SaaS creative this week. Is it even just B2B anymore? 

There’s a high chance an average person is probably employed by or using SaaS in their everyday job. Even more so for ChatGPT. 

Adoption has crossed the threshold where we’re not so much having to convince people to sign up as much as we are to gain mindshare for the problems we solve. 

I think it’s leading to some great execution. A renassaince of non-performance led advertising that is no doubt supplemented by all of the data and technology that we’re used to.

When they lay me in the ground, make sure everyone hears this.

This simple formula could save your quarter. What's the point of knowing you've hit $700k of your $5m pipeline goal just 2 weeks in?

Are we on-track? Off-track? Beats me - it's way too early to tell, so I guess we just... wait.

So you wait. And suddenly the quarter's nearly done. And you're not even close to target. Ah well, there's always next quarter. Assuming your boss doesn't care.

But here's the kicker - you didn't actually learn anything except 'let's wait and see'. You didn't push your team to build momentum. They're just deflated and resigned to missing targets. And that's the mindset they're carrying into the next quarter.

It doesn't have to be this way. There's a dead simple calculation that shows you if you're on-track or off-track while there's still time to fix it and crush your number. 

Don't wait until you're out of runway. It's so stupidly simple everyone should be doing this. 

But the truth is - most aren't.

Talking heads will tell you "OpenAI just killed n8n, Zapier and 1,000 AI startups with one update" but I disagree.

OpenAI have released Agent Builder, which lets you build LLM-based workflows on top of a standard chat interface. If all you build is some iteration of a chatbot, then Agent Builder might be the tool for you.

But if you're looking to build end-to-end workflows that don't start and finish in an LLM, then it's going to fall short. Maybe MCP will fill this gap one day. But there's still a level of probabilistic outcomes that makes it a bad choice for anyone who needs accuracy.

Agent Builder shines in specific scenarios: Chat-centric workflows where human interaction is the primary interface, quick prototypes for conversational agents, and teams already deep in the OpenAI ecosystem who want simple automation.

But it falls short when you need guaranteed execution paths, not probabilistic decisions at every step.

Business-critical processes can't afford "the LLM decided to skip a step."

And real automation starts with webhooks, scheduled jobs, database changes, API events, and file uploads. If your workflow doesn't begin with someone typing a message, Agent Builder isn't the answer.

It adds complexity. Traditional if/then/else logic doesn't need an LLM burning tokens to decide which path to take. Sometimes a simple "if status equals 'approved' then..." is exactly what you want.

ETL pipelines, batch processing, and data sync between systems are deterministic operations. You don't need AI to move 10,000 records from your CRM to your data warehouse.

Why route everything through an LLM when 80% of your workflow is just moving data from A to B? Token costs add up fast when you're using AI for tasks that don't need it.

How do you even approach error logging when you're dealing with LLM reasoning?

Model Context Protocol could bridge some of these gaps by giving agents access to external tools and data sources. But the fundamental issues remain:
It's still early.

Most business automation doesn't need AI at every step. It needs AI at decision points, with reliable automation connecting them.

This is why n8n and Zapier aren't going anywhere. They excel at being the deterministic glue between systems, with optional AI nodes where judgment actually adds value. You get the best of both worlds: rock-solid automation for the 80% that should never fail, and intelligent decision-making for the 20% that benefits from it.

Agent Builder is a tool. It's a good tool for what it does. But it's not a replacement for purpose-built workflow automation platforms, and anyone telling you otherwise is either selling something or doesn't understand enterprise automation.

Will we see more in-person B2B brand activations in 2026?

2 big ones in the last few weeks went viral. I'm based in the UK, both of these were in New York, but I'm still really aware of them happening (and even felt a little bit of FOMO).

The first was Anthropic's coffee shop and merch store. People queued around the block to grab a coffee, work and get their hands on "thinking" merch. They've generally been killing it with their branding work, with many people saying it reminds them of Apple's heyday. 

Then Ramp put Kevin from The Office in a glass box and had him manually process receipts. I can't think of how expensive that is, but he was wearing a $100k Patek Phillipe watch for the occasion so I'd imagine it pays well.

You need to measure both velocity AND volume. I've seen influencers here promote focusing solely on pipeline velocity, but that's misleading (be careful with the ayahuasca folk). You can artificially boost velocity by only pursuing ultra-warm leads, but that strategy only works for mature or declining businesses.

If you're trying to grow, you need new market penetration. And new market penetration means building relationships with prospects who don't know you yet, which naturally creates longer sales cycles and lower conversion rates.

You need to balance both, segment your measurement and always be considerate of the bigger picture. Making your team focus on velocity alone can be a perverse incentive.

Imagine a company announcing 'We're rolling out Google search to our 40,000 employees" and thinking that's a win?

But that's not uncommon with AI adoption announcements.

Why were you throttling their productivity before? This is how I read it:

"After months of committee review, pilot programs, and change management initiatives. We finally have executive approval to give our workforce access to a basic tool"
