Hands-on Marketing and Content Leader - A content optimization specialist turned generalist, there isn't a type of content I haven't experimented with

A creative trained in the technical world, I began my marketing career as an SEO Specialist studying algorithms and driving up organic traffic. In short order, I worked my way up through several agency promotions to be an SEO content strategist.

As the main point of contact, serving 10 to 15 SaaS companies at any given time, my interests expanded from algorithms and content to integrated content strategies, newsletters, CRO, and social (which is probably how you found my profile). This evolution of my career trajectory was a natural process as a result of 2 questions.

1. How do I offer consultative advice for marketing strategies and tactics that support the companies I work for beyond offering SEO services?

2. How do I become a Director of Content, a Growth Marketing Director, or a CMO one day?

My solution: I moved horizontally into a Marketing Manager role where I can play an active part in paid, social, email, optimized content, case studies, partnership discussions, podcasting, branding and design decisions, and work cross-functionally with a sales teams.

GA4Dataform is a massive help if you are an analyst/marketer and want to use GA4 BigQuery data.  
  
The output tables you get are:  
  
↳ demo_daily_sessions_report - peak daily session report  
↳ demo_diagnostics  
↳ ga4_events - event data  
↳ ga4_sessions - session data  
↳ ga4_transactions - Ecommerce data (if any)  
  
It's super quick to set up and even quicker to open Looker Studio and build something.  
  
A lot of stuff that should be modeled/fixed is already handled.  
  
❗️Analytics is all about speed and this is the ideal solution for many use cases.  
  
GA4 UI and API are extremely limited so you must use BigQuery for serious use cases.
  
Guess what though?  
  
😩 The output is highly complex.  
  
This tool bridges the issue for FREE.  
  
Of course for more complex projects you need to do data modeling in completely different ways.  
  
There isn't a better way to model your data, it all depends on needs.  
  
😎 But for quick and dirty use cases (the majority), you can use GA4Dataform and call it a day.  

This is a big step forward in terms of making great data available and usable (like in Looker Studio).
  
After all, you can't have a data engineer for every project, right?
