When I stopped people-pleasing, it wasn’t well-received.

I chased approval for most of my early years, so when I met coaching in my 20’s — and realized I didn’t even know my own perspective or voice, everything in changed. 

Coaching taught me to trust myself and take my own advice.  And that I can help a lot more people if I stop performing and start being myself.

Now, as an ICF Mentor Coach, Coach Trainer, and Master Certified Coach, I help coaches and purpose-driven leaders do the same — grow with mastery, serve deeply, and build confidence rooted in authenticity.

I partner with coaches and leaders at every stage to:
-Clarify or reconnect to their purpose

Now that it's January I'm officially stepping into my position as Director of Marketing at ICF Tennessee!

Lana is an Academic and Kids Life Coach, as well as a Pregnancy and Grief Coach.

If you choose a word of the year, you need to consider this:

Do you need a passive or active word? Both?

A passive word is more about turning inward. 
Words like nuture or ponder are passive words.

An active word is more about putting energy out, putting YOURSELF out there. Words like motivate or focus are active words.

You might actually need 2 words. 
One passive and one active.

Questions to consider: 
What do I want to see on the inside?
What do I want to see on the outside?

CTA - What's your word or words of the year? Passive or active?
